This talented "In your face"journalist has left a great hole in the interveiw technique, marvelous sharp wit and so articulate, would hate to be interveiwed by this probing mind!.
In the realm of entertainers, leaders and followers must have a shared goal that makes up the three equally necessary components for leadership and I believe Mike Wallace knew this theme so well that he was that third leg needed in order to maintain a following unmatched today.
Mike Walick, is it? or Wallik? Whatever, a.k.a he uses, it is good to know him. The depths of his soul, and the abyss in which it is immersed, are evidenced... Praying for you, Mikey.....
Where have the great interviewers gone? The news today has absolutely no depth to it at all. Great interview of one of a few select newsmen. Dan Schorr's interview was also super.
The series is made by the people who created television as we know it. The idea is that it's the television industry doing its own biography. Hence "autobiography".
Especially in Kuba and North Korea, in Nicaragua and now also in democRATic Government in USA with Comrade Senile-Joe-Diaper-Biden and his red puppets.
He introduces this series by saying he will be talking to the people whom through style and substance helped shape our media today. Wrong! These great people shaped our media of yesterday. The fools that shaped our media today are the likes of Rupert Murdock and Rush Limbaugh.. And we are the poorer for it.
I like Mike Wallace's work. The only time I was really angry is what he said to the Ayatollah Khomeini. which I believe got Anwar Sadat killed I was a young girl and I knew it was a very bad onen for Sadat. Mike Wallace was an ass for that one.
@@zippyzipster46 It's not the fear of truth it's what I believe pushed the agenda to kill Sadat. Not every truth needs to be said at every time discretion is the better part of valor. We don't tell a country we are at war with where are troops are.

Biography, not Autobiography. An Autobiography is self produced.
