The confidence Mike has in saying the Mosin Nagant is his 3rd favorite handgun. He deserves an Obrez. ...and five seconds later he finds one! I love it
Zach could have a channel that's half entertaining and half educational where he goes around in games ranting and telling stories/histories of every gun he finds. Dude really has a way with delivering absolute mounds of information in a way that holds your attention.
I honestly love when Zack just looks at a gun and starts listing the parts of it and where they're from. It's just way more fun than it really should be
My absolute favourite part of this channel is how genuine the friendship between Zach and Mike is. They both, though Zach more than Mike, have their own personality quirks that would drive most people away and yet they have such an easy friendship and are so patient with each other, admittedly Mike more than Zach. I come for the funny jokes, the gun rants, and stupid stories. But I keep coming back because of how enjoyable your friendship is. Cheers lads for all the entertainment.
This is very much how my best friend and I are. We don’t see each other as often now because of his job and honestly I find myself saying how much I miss having rants with him because we would do stuff like this for hours and it was so satisfying.
Fun fact: there were 3 functional jackhammers built, but the one shown in all videogames and media is the proof of concept first one made. The other two were used for testing by the US military and were destroyed by the testing
Ian at Forgotten Weapons actually managed to get his hands on the original, real one, and does a great defense of the gun there. It's unfortunate that the ones destroyed in testing are almost unknown, otherwise the gun might be a bit less of a meme.
One minor alteration:The way you say they were "destroyed by the testing" makes the gun sound bad. It implies that the gun broke during testing because it couldnt handle it, rather than the fact that the test was quite literally to shoot it until it broke to find out how exactly, and how easily, it would and could break from extended use.
That's stupid. Everyone knows the best way to defeat Russians in space is to throw a bottle of vodka in a re-entry vector and all the cosmonauts will tumble over each other to burn to death trying to grab it.
Holy cow, that last caliber rant focused around 40 S&W, that is me every time I look into trying to find out more info about guns. "You're throwing more numbers at me and it's making me angry. " I feel that in my soul.
I think he was a pretty stressed during that rant. Almost everything he said in relation to energy levels was wrong. If two bullets weigh the same, and one is going twice as fast as the other, The faster one has more energy. Him thinking 45 has more energy than 40 is honestly really confusing me. He's a gunsmith, he should know pressure values
I could legit listen to knowledgeable, passionate people talk about their favorite topic forever, whether I'm actually interested in the topic itself or not.
I feel the same way for me I think its because it's not just like an information dumb well it is but it the way it's the presentation, they are playing a game and their banter and the way they talk is honestly great
Its the passion that does it for me, when someone really really gives a shit about a hobby its enthralling, even if its something like a spoon collection
I think you guys make THE perfect duo for youtube gaming. Zack is full of stories, trivia and isn't afraid of being "silly" from time to time. And Mike is very cheerful , witty and can appreciate almost any joke. I really don't like "letsplay" videos. But most of yours really are exeptional.
If Zach ever got his hands on H3VR, he'd go absolutely nuts. Like, alternating between kid in a candy store, and freaking out over cursed guns like the IPSICK 2011 or the Deaglov
"The longer the barrel the more accurate is the shot, right?" "Technically you're correct..." *stuffs the end of the barrel into the enemy's face from 10 meters*
In fact, pistols built like that were (briefly) a thing. IIRC (and I may not) a small number were bought privately, or possibly for evaluation, and used by the Swiss or Austrian armies in mountain fortresses pre-WWI. Only a small number were made, and fewer survive, and I think the only place you could find one now is in the collection of a preserved fortress somewhere in C Europe
I find the best thing is Zach is a rambler while Mike is a listener. Zach can go on these long rants as mike just listens, tossing out genuinely interested, yet still comedic and light toned, questions.
The first episode of this was the video that introduced me to this channel. This show is likely the only thing that got me through quarantine mostly mentally stable. So I am very glad that we get a sequel one year later

"I don't know everything there is to know about guns."
*Proceeds to wow the rest of us with his vast knowledge on every gun ever.*
I wish FPSRussia and Zornk Hayzord could have collabed on shooty Mc Pewpews
The silence from Zach after Mike asked where he was going with this was DEAFENING. I felt that sudden realization when I rant about shit I know WAAAAY too much about.
If Zach did a UA-cam channel of just gun rants, guns he loves and ones he hates , I would watch the crap out of that
Same here

I love how Mike is a lot smarter than how he acts in these rants just cuz he knows what great content Zach lets out when frustrated
I love that no matter what Zach is explaining/ranting about, Mike does his best to follow along and even contribute to the conversation even when it's something he's not as interested in.
This is a good friendship.
The dynamic between Zach and Mike... those two just play off of each other so well.
Zach: I know everything about guns
Mike: I know about 3 guns and how to make an explosive out of a role of toilet paper at a stick of dynamite
I love how Zach just roasts the .45-70 revolver. The funny thing is that it's not even modded in. It's part of the vanilla game
That SPECIFIC revolver is a mod, as the base Hunting Revolver comes with an in-built scope.

Alternate title: Two men shoot up a casino and hang out with the corpses for 10 minutes
@@davidhansen5067 Ive seen his video and that's what lead me to look up more about it
One minor alteration:The way you say they were "destroyed by the testing" makes the gun sound bad. It implies that the gun broke during testing because it couldnt handle it, rather than the fact that the test was quite literally to shoot it until it broke to find out how exactly, and how easily, it would and could break from extended use.
