SOLID video Mike! Only one correction: Baker's crotch grab wasn't aimed at a fan, but at the Kansas bench...they refused to shake his hand at the pre-game coin toss...blatantly tried to injure his throwing shoulder well after a pass was made (penalized for it)...and a plethora of questionable late hits. The only thing he did to fans was to say "stick to basketball" to harrassers behind the OU bench lol.
Yup thats exactly what happened,and i remember everyone even espn saying baker was trash well they didn't see the other team going to extremes to hurt baker and he tried to shake their hands at the beginning and they grabbed their crotch so he did it back later

I personally hope jacoby brissett and baker both pop off, and Jacoby brings us to 9-2, and then we have to make the decision of playing Watson when he gets back.

I support Baker, ever since he joined the Browns I, a Dallas fan, rooted for Browns to succeed with Baker. After how they treated their first successfully QB, I would like to see them flop with Watson while Baker goes to be the next Drew Brees.
Also I wanna point out. Odell played the number 2 wideout, he is not a true number 1 since his injury with the Giants. Kupp was triple crown wideout so Odell played the weaker corner and less double coverage

@@darijanmizic8555 he's had some solid seasons, I think his ankle injury messed up his play to where he's best in the slot or number 2. Odell just lost himself through more injuries
Exactly everyone is saying Odell returned to form, he averaged 50 yards a game if that and caught 5 yard slants for most his TD’s. Not that he isn’t looking better, and I hope he heals up. But people are acting like he’s back to being on the Giants 2014-2016 and that’s a far cry from the truth.

I hope to see him shine. I remember when Brees got traded to the Saints and he absolutely blew up! I’m a die hard bucs fan, but I really wish him the best and hope he proves everyone wrong.
There are parallels between Brees and Mayfield. They were both ditched by teams after injuries marred their play. They both were traded by teams with traditionally bad front offices. They were both traded by teams that often had talent and underachieved. I hope Carolina is as good a place for a fresh start for Baker as New Orleans was for Drew.

Kids got that dawg mentality. Sad to see injuries pile up but people shouldn’t forget what he was able to accomplish for the browns. I really think he was a formative piece in getting that organization turned towards something other than a complete laughing stock.
I've been up and down on baker, I happened to be watching that wk 3 game. I was very impressed, and I didn't realize he was playing injuried this past season. Although I haven't really liked his maturity level, I want this undersized walk on to overcome with his tenacity and heart. Just to know that a regular guy my size can do it if they put all their heart into it.

I remember watching that game. The game was slipping away under Tyrod Taylor. I kept saying “put Baker in” to the tv lol hate that it took Tyrod getting hurt for him get a chance though
I never got why people started hating on Mayfield, from the games I've seen of his, his O-Line couldnt hold a nose bleed, and he had to force throws to keep his team in along with me finding out he was playing injured. Now I don't think he's a star quarterback or ever will be, but he has shown glimspes of being a solid QB like his rookie year and 2020.

Im a browns fan aye and baker, I like him as qb he be a good back up if he was still there beside deshaun watson, and it not all his fault they did not make the playoffs, he was injured, and he still put a good record for the browns with 8-9 with an injury but still missing the playoffs I hope he is successful in the future go Browns and Panthers

As a Browns fan, I wish him the very best. Had a helluva roster built around him in Cleveland and felt his footwork, ability to read a defense and decision-making held him back. Him and Darnold have more picks than anyone else in the time they've been in the league. Had he gotten surgery and sat the 2021 season recovering, Cleveland likely would've held onto him. He chose to tough it, his play suffered and Cleveland felt they should move on. Final nail in the coffin for the front office was his farewell letter to the city of Cleveland before the DeShawn Watson trade was just talk, not finalized.

i always liked Baker and wasn't sure why he was so hated. Like you said, what he did for the Browns was incredible. I didn't know his early back story though so this was great. Dude did his best but the Browns are gonna doing Browns things. I like his drive and hope he excels in Carolina.

In baker's defense everytime he did throw to O'Dell it was either incomplete or intercepted. O'Dell never fought for baker plain and simple
OBJ was successful in LA because he was no longer the number 1 WR. He could do it in years 1-3 but after his injury he's a number 2 or 3. Baker had 2 solidly #2 WRs that were supposed to be #1s

The coach knows best..According to his coach they said he's acts like a kid..does not have what it takes to be a franchise quarterback..that's why they got rid off him for next to nothing...I won't be surprise if he's out of the NFL in a year or two..

Great job. I needed a little perspective on this. I think two things can be true - Baker doesn't have the skills, *AND* the kid's a player. Its the same reason people invested in Tebow, who doesn't even qualify. It would be great to have both, such as for example New England with Brady. Brady had to work, and he worked, including improving his skills. He also had a decent height to work with. I guess we'll see what happens with Watson - he did have the talent; I thougth he did a better job with the Texans than Jackson did with the Ravens.

Baker is not that short. He is a good 4 inches taller than Kyler Murray and and and an inch taller than Russell Wilson. They are both great quarterbacks but Baker can’t get a break. Also Drew Breese is shorter than Russell and Baker. I wish him the best.

2018 and 2020 were his good seasons but one was over 4 years ago at this point and in 2020 you can argue he had one of the most stacked rosters in the league.
2019 and 2021 were his “bad” seasons but in 2019 you can blame Freddie Kitchens since he was a pretty shitty coach and in 2021 you can blame injuries for his poor play

@@Iconic_kron Cleveland will get a dose of reality this season. Their receiving corp was horrible. The receivers they had last year will suck. Their newer receivers are improvements over what Baker had last year. David Bell and Amari Cooper will rise above the sorry receivers Baker had last season.

It's like people forgot that Baker flipped the entire Browns' organization in the right direction. People act like he didn't have a serious injury. I know he shot himself in the foot by continuing to play while not at a 100%, but nobody cuts him any slack.
He needs stability. 4 offensive coordinators and four new offenses in his 5th season. That's wild. Learning a new language and system every year isn't normal. We gave Aaron and TB leeway when they went to New systems. LoL

It's funny, the media loves to hate Baker, but all the comments I read by regular people love this dude. He played great against the Bills in preseason, I expect him to ball out this year. Dude is focused, has the right mindset, and is gelling with his teammates. Panthers got a steal while the rest of the league believed the narrative that was being pushed.
