It is a super rip off lol. I am from India and installed these 24"x48" tiles in my 1500 sqft home a few months back and the labor cost was only $0.35 per sqft. $40 per sqft is a joke. No wonder, not many people in America get tiles installed in their homes. Actually, you can install these yourself if you are willing to put in the hard work doing the subfloor levelling and tile cutting.
24-60 $/sqft. ? Bro are you kidding? In India you can get Tile costing between 0.5$ - 1.2$ highest and labour cost 25 cents that means 0.75 - 1.5 $ /sqft. Even if Import duty is 100% then also you get tile at 1 - 3 $/ sqft and labour cost let 30 times that means 7.5$/ sqft. It should cost around 8 - 11 $/sqft.
Rappers should rap about this. A lot rhymes with super format
