They do not look like they are adequately compensated for their hard work and skill. I am sure their lungs will be impacted too after inhaling all that fine stone dust. Appalling conditions, humans treat each other terribly, just to have a class system. Who can enjoy a class based culture when ones position has little to do with merit nor is there easy means to be upwardly mobile. Beautiful work though, but at what cost?
