I can't wait to build the '66 Acadian Canso convertible from my Lethbridge Dude Ranch days... And seeing that I'm in Washington State, it'll be less expensive to ship from Alberta! WOW!!! I always want to do some Canuck iron...
Great looking parts, I Actually made a 1968 Acadian out of the Revell '69 C.O.P.O Nova and the Model Car Garage '68-'69 Detail set, they also have the 1970-'72 set, both have the different Acadian emblems on them . I'm certainly going to be buying everything that is brought out that has to do with the Canadian Pontiac's , So I've seen quite a few here where I live in Michigan. Great looking car's in my opinion!

I really enjoyed the History of GM's Canadian Cars. So these cars were built in the U.S., and imported into Canada? If they were U.S. built, the production schedule/documentation would be interesting. Were they built alongside their U.S. counterparts, a separate production run? So many questions!
At this time the conversions are only for the exterior. And I think the Chevy II based cars only ever used the Chevrolet components anyway. The Chevelle based Beaumonts did use a Pontiac dash, though.

Nice Job, Chris. Those are beautiful pieces. I may have to get one of these kits.
You don't be disappointed! 👍
First time this Nova looks good!
🤣
Great job dude!! I have one of those kits, I might need to pick this stuff up!
Absolutely! I guarantee an Acadian or two roamed the streets of NH 'back in the day' 😁
Vents on the front fenders where in different locations from 66 to 67
That's right, good eye!

These were built at the plant in Oshawa, ON. GM only had one powertrain facility in Canada as well, which is why Pontiacs only had Chevrolet engines.
@chrmar but Tonawanda is soo close, just not in Canada. Same for the Windsor Plant for Ford.
@@jasonrothgeb6071 our full size Pontiacs also used the Chevrolet chassis for decades .
What about the
What about the interior
