YES to the “buying something in your size because you normally can’t find your size”. I’ve always been busty and I feel this deeply when I finally find a shirt that fits correctly.
I dunno the logistics, but I think it would be cool if you thrifted a mystery box for one of your followers. Like they provide their sizes and Pinterest board and you find things for them. That way you still get thrifting content but without buying things you don’t need. But great score today!!
Froggycrossing did something similar on her UA-cam channel last month for Christmas. I forget the program but kids would write santa letters and you'd buy them what they asked for and send it. Her video is her shopping around with their lists and picking out all the stuff they asked for, it's super sweet
Great idea! But I also really enjoy just watching people shop. I'm always excited to see what is in the thrift store, even if she doesnt buy any of it.
From one stranger on the internet, I'm proud of your self-control when thrifting! You kept a laser focus on your goals! Would love to see you seek out small, local thrift shops, as long as it won't doxx you!
You can make wool less itchy by soaking it in a vinegar and water bath, then adding a little hair conditioner to the rinse water. I am obsessed with vintage wool sweaters. I love to upcycle them and make vest, cardigans, throw pillows and quilts out of them.
Everything was so nice. And looked great on you. The blue Disney sweatshirt you got for Drew was perfect it has a capital “ D” for drew🥰 nice purchase thank you for sharing.
The commentary, the slow pans across what's there, the self-control hehe the FLABBERGASTIN' at how good the thrift store was. I felt like I was thrifting with you
Totally understand not wanting an itchy sweater, but a 100% wool sweater is going to be naturally sweat wicking and more temperature regulating than acrylic. A 100% acrylic sweater is basically made of plastic and will most likely be super sweaty.
And they don’t wash well! Because it’s plastic. That nice soft feeling won’t last many washes at all and it will look and feel dingier. I love the temperature regulating properties of wool and I look for higher wool contents. There are some out there that won’t be itchy.
Carrie this is so amazing … I felt like I was walking right beside you in an amazing thrift adventure … you are honestly my UA-cam Fav. Thanks so much ❤️
The puzzle you grabbed for your niece is from the dollar store- they are great little puzzles, but a lot of times at thrift stores they have them costing more than 1.25 haha I do a ton of puzzle thrifting and I would say 95% of the time the pieces are there!! Excited to see what you find!
Sometimes you can find when a piece came out by looking at the inside tag (I believe located on the left seam) it will have a release date and you can see when it came out! May not be all places but definitely old navy!
Here's a video or series idea - thrift a subscriber's wishlist. You have a talent, and then you could thrift without accumulating more - unless you want to 😊
I believe old navy does this too (like gap) but the smallest tag near the garment info tag will have the item name and then the month and year of the season that garment was sold during.
Those Remark puzzles are originally from Barnes and Noble and they’re my all time favorites! They are fun and not too hard. I used to get one every year for Christmas cause my mom would pick them out for me. ❤
Old Navy clothing usually has a product tag with the season and year it was manufactured in. If that tag is still attached you can see how vintage it is! :) I have a few like that one from '01
Yessss girl I knew you were gonna say the tweety button up would haunt you and I agree because you look so pretty in red and I’m just imagining the ways you would style that and I’m like 😍 but okay I’ll stop rubbing it in now forgive me lolz
On Old navy, gap, and banana republic, on either the left or right the inside side seam, you should see what is called a joker tag. The month and year will be printed on it! That's how you can tell when it was in the store.😊
You should've gotten the chairs at 3:17. But if they were actually rickety that's a deal-breaker, true. Also the metal marble lamp looked like it could've been a really good one--but if it's not your style...yeah, leave it for someone else. My fave item you bought was the grandpa sweater--I'd wear the heck out of that.
I mean, hearing Nodal on the background of this video while you are shopping is something i didn't expected... But i'm okay with that 😂 Hugs from México!❤
There's a ton of those Warner bros Tweety bird button ups on mercari and poshmark! They have short sleeve, long sleeve, denim, gingham, corduroy. You can definitely find one that's the right size on there if you're still thinking about it. I work at six flags and found a denim button up with the looney tunes gang riding a roller coaster, absolutely perfect!
You would be in absolute heaven at the thrift stores here in eastern Canada. We have rows upon rows of vintage men’s crewneck sweaters at our thrift stores
George is Walmart. I like those cars! Agree with the inside of that one. I recently thrifted a hoodie with that exact same inside. It's currently my fav one!
In my area, St. Vinnies is the only reasonably priced store. I go in with ideas and have had gold luck. I wonder if i would have luck with sweaters in the mens section, may have to try.
I miss thrifting so bad! I need new clothes to me clothes! I haven’t thrift yet for the new year either because we been busy visiting with my father in law, also we sold our house and got a new one we are moving on February 27th! I need a yellow sweater I’m starting to love yellow! Cute Disney sweater I love it ❤
these sweaters were such GEMS! i also have fallen into the “this is in my size and actually fits i have to buy it” mindset and have really spent time worning on figuring out what i actually like and will wear. something that helps me when i see something so cool but know i wouldn’t wear/don’t need it is snapping a picture. i don’t even need to keep the pictures but doing so in that moment clicks something in my brain where i saw and appreciated it but can leave it behind.
You should go to the worst rated thrift store and the best rated thrift store in arizona!
loooove this idea!!
YES to the “buying something in your size because you normally can’t find your size”. I’ve always been busty and I feel this deeply when I finally find a shirt that fits correctly.
I believe GEORGE is Walmart
George is also ASDA (Uk Walmart) clothing brand!
Yes, we have George in Walmart Canada!
Yup used to have George in US
Yep
Late 90's/2000's Wal-Mart brand in the US.
For $10 I would have bought the leopard table and chairs. Picked the best two chairs and redonated the 4 chairs and table back.
That’s what I was thinking!!!
I can't believe the ENTIRE SET was $10??? I'm not even into leopard, but it was so cute!
Been a viewer for years and this is hands down...THE BEST THRIFT WITH ME VIDEO on your channel! so many good finds and just ahhh so amazing!
omg the red striped couch is a dream
Paused mid video to say I’m INTO this new editing style!

This hair is absolutely GORGEOUS! 😍 Thanks for another fun thrift vid!
I get puzzles at the thrift store all the time and they have always had all the pieces! Happy puzzling!

Thank you for this comment!!! Will be trying this before I get rid of my wool items!
You READ MY MIND with the Boy Meets World reference!! Amazing Haul
Thank you Carrie for all your longer form content lately - i see you!! 🫶💕

Omg The Tweety and Disney Crewneck 😭😍 Love!!

Life is too short for itchy clothing though. I usually go for cotton
Love the Spanish music playing at the thrift store. For a second I thought my music was playing on top of this lol.
The Tweety shirt tied in a knot with the long shorts & your red boots would've been so cute!
Love the butter yellow sweater. So glad you ended up with it.
Carrie this is so amazing … I felt like I was walking right beside you in an amazing thrift adventure … you are honestly my UA-cam Fav. Thanks so much ❤️
That red and white stripped couch 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
So in love with the framed floral print! The mint green mat 😍😍😍
So fun! Thanks for brightening up my day ❤
UGH that Old Navy chest stripe 90s sweater. I've been hunting for so long!!
The puzzle you grabbed for your niece is from the dollar store- they are great little puzzles, but a lot of times at thrift stores they have them costing more than 1.25 haha I do a ton of puzzle thrifting and I would say 95% of the time the pieces are there!! Excited to see what you find!
I always look for Buffalo or White Mountain puzzles and leave the rest.
@@courtney1629 I find so many great brands- but it's like a mini lotto every time I go- will I be lucky or not ha!
@stacyssassystyles for sure! I've had to limit myself to my favorite brands since my collection is getting out of control haha
@@courtney1629 I think thats part of being a puzzler.....tell me it is LOLOL
Amazing items!
Love the edit of Drew's voice 😄
using this video to manifest an amazing goodwill bins trip later today
Sometimes you can find when a piece came out by looking at the inside tag (I believe located on the left seam) it will have a release date and you can see when it came out! May not be all places but definitely old navy!
Love the new hair!!
I love watching your thrifting videos! I also love that you said you're a walking contradiction lol. Love that!! xx
Love your thrifting vids!
I just found you, and I love your personality. Also, I'm really glad you're thrifting in Arizona since I live here. Great video!
Here's a video or series idea - thrift a subscriber's wishlist. You have a talent, and then you could thrift without accumulating more - unless you want to 😊
Why was I thinking about a video like this and went to carrie's channel to be pleasantly surprised she just posted! amazing! love u carrie
I believe old navy does this too (like gap) but the smallest tag near the garment info tag will have the item name and then the month and year of the season that garment was sold during.
Years ago I thrifted that same butter yellow sweater in olive green and I love it! ❤ and still have it and wear it!
Omg that car sweaterrrrrrrr🥹
Literally with the first sweater on your haul, I was thinking “boy meets world” and you said it a few seconds later 😂🙌🏽 & it’s cute on you!
Me, a therapist when you showed that burgundy couch “woah, that’d be a sweet office chair”
You “it’s giving therapist office”
☠️
Im still in my boho era, so i wouldve went feral over that wicker shelf and wouldve figured out how to fit it in my lil volkswagen jetta 😂😭
Those Remark puzzles are originally from Barnes and Noble and they’re my all time favorites! They are fun and not too hard. I used to get one every year for Christmas cause my mom would pick them out for me. ❤

that grey sweater is giving 100% Ross from friends!!!
I was crossing my fingers hoping you would get that STUNNING china cabinet!!! 😍
Check the seams of the Old Navy sweater. There is usually a tag with the season and year it was released.
Me over here crying in NYC thrifting prices. 😭😭😭
i neeeed that leopard dining set 😭 and the jewelry case 😭😭 we do NOT have furniture like that at the thrift near me omg
Thanks for sharing- love this!! 😍
I went thrifting twice this week 😂 The amount of self-control you had is amazing bcs I had ZERO!!
I thrifted that exact car sweatshirt seven years ago and it’s my favorite sweatshirt ever
Omg no joke, my therapist office has that exact same "therapist office couch" but it's in brown. So yes, that is indeed a therapist office couch 😂
My comfort creator that I turn to when the world is literally and metaphorically on fire 🥲
This video was so vibey
Hahaha “The too much gene” ah, I Miss Jenna ❤
17:01 I love this section of your thriftring vidoes. Thrift stores have the most out of pocket shirts lol
I always buy puzzles from the thrift store! So cheap! And I’ve never bought one that was missing pieces!
I am in MD and rarely can find kokopelli so anytime I find the perfect kokopelli piece I grab it🤣
You should've gotten the chairs at 3:17. But if they were actually rickety that's a deal-breaker, true. Happy Wednesday
D for Disney, Dayton, & Drew
You can buy detergent specifically for wool, with lanolin in it. It makes itchy wool soft.
I mean, hearing Nodal on the background of this video while you are shopping is something i didn't expected... But i'm okay with that 😂 Hugs from México!❤
The tweety shirt 😍😍😍
Love the dad sweaters it's giving Neal from Santa Claus movies ❤
Glad to see you shopping in the home section , thats my favorite part of the thrift store. George is Walmart, I would have grabbed that too!!!
That gray old navy sweater is a very Eric Matthews sweater, and I live for it.
17:01 😭😂 girl I love u

George is definitely from Asda supermarket her in the Uk. 👏🏼💜 loving all of the pieces you got, you always find the cutest things.
I totally have the be your best s-elf t shirt lol. It’s part of an old navy Christmas pj set
lollll Kokopelli is definitely a part of the arizona/New Mexico starter packs
George is Walmart. I like those cars! Agree with the inside of that one. I recently thrifted a hoodie with that exact same inside. It's currently my fav one!
That red leather tufted loveseat is AMAZING.....so good in a photo studio or dark academia....
In my area, St. Vinnies is the only reasonably priced store. I go in with ideas and have had gold luck. I wonder if i would have luck with sweaters in the mens section, may have to try.
I miss thrifting so bad! I need new clothes to me clothes! I need a yellow sweater I’m starting to love yellow! Cute Disney sweater I love it ❤
Love your hair, gorgeous! ❤😘
So fun 🤩
You should totally do a ranking of the thrift stores. Like I have Salvation Army and Goodwill around my town but are they worth my time???
George is a uk supermarket brand BUT it is known for being really good quality! George jumpers are great!
these sweaters were such GEMS! i also have fallen into the “this is in my size and actually fits i have to buy it” mindset and have really spent time worning on figuring out what i actually like and will wear. something that helps me when i see something so cool but know i wouldn’t wear/don’t need it is snapping a picture. i don’t even need to keep the pictures but doing so in that moment clicks something in my brain where i saw and appreciated it but can leave it behind.
You got beautiful men's sweaters this time.
I loved all the sweaters. What kind of sweater shaver do you have. I bought one and it does nothing, or Im doing it wrong
The men's XL/XXL rack is always the first place I hit at my local thrift store. I've found most of my favorite pieces there.
Super great haul!
I love St. Vincent's!
