Her plane crashed into the side of a mountain. Such a tragic loss. A super talent. One of the best country voices ever.
@brendasimmons8149
The plane didn't crash into a mountain. That's how they portrayed it in the movie biopic "Sweet Dreams".
But it actually went down in a wooded area, in a sort of gulley or ravine, not too far outside of Nashville.
I don't know why they changed it in the movie unless they thought it would be more dramatic. The facts are more than dramatic enough though.
Btw..here on UA-cam there are several videos of the site & the memorial there if you're interested. It's a pretty spot, quiet & peaceful.
Something ABtheKreator may be interested in is that her last concert, the one she was leaving when her plane crashed was in Kansas City, Kansas.
She died in a small plane crash along with singers Hawkshaw Hawkins and Cowboy Copas, along with the pilot. Her voice is the voice by which other female singers are measured.
Patsy Cline had one of the most beautiful voices that ever graced God's earth. You must do "Crazy ". Great choice!
He's done "Crazy"....

I’ll second this! You MUST do “Crazy”
She was in a plane crash! I can only imagine the heights to which she would have soared had she lived! Fabulous reaction!
As someone may have mentioned, Patsy became good friends with Loretta Lynn and mentored her about the music business and life. She was killed in a plane crash.
She was only 30 when she died in a small plane crash flying back from a concert. She and Loretta Lynn were best friends and early pioneering women in country music. Patsy was a strong woman, who had learned the hard way that men were out to cheat women in the industry, and she coined the phrase, no cash, no Cline, if they didn't pay her first, she didn't go on stage after having been cheated out of pay in the past by shady promoters once she had already performed.
Timeless and classy
There are many greats I will never say a bad thing about, but this is THE First Lady of country music.
She died in a plane crash, just so many oi singers did ,
Jim Croce
John Denver
Buddy Holly
Richie Valen
The big bopper
Lynaryd Skynyrd
The list goes on
Reba McIntyre s, entire band
Glenn Miller
One of the greats. Her slower heart-wrenching songs were the ones they mostly released as singles so they became the hits, but her uptempo stuff is great too. Some amazing vocal gymnastics.
Patsy was born in September of 1932. She and four other country stars perished in a plane crash in March of 1963, so she hadn't quite reached
I love her “I Fall to Pieces “

Sweet dreams is my fave Patsy song, definitely a must hear
Sweet Dreams..Patsy Cline
Her last performance was right here in Kansas City, two nights before she died.
"Strange" is another great song of hers.
There is a collection of her music that is wonderful. She and some other country artists had chartered a plane to their next gig and the plane crashed and all of them were killed.
Great reaction to a very influential country Artist.
Her plane crashed in Camden, TN , just north of where I live. And no it wasn't a crash in a mountain like some said. My mom said she was out and heard the plane go overhead just a few minutes before it crashed.
This made my day!
You were hilarious jamming out to Patsy!
One of my favorite songs ❤

I Fall To Pieces ❤
Hello A.B.
You are reviewing the 1957 recording for Patsy Cline's "Walkin After Midnight", the clippity clop version that I liked as a kid.
After buying a three CD set for Cline decades ago, I heard the newer version .
Please check out "Walkin' After Midnight (1961)", posted by PatsyClineFan1 or Patsy Cline.
This version is bluesier, a hint of gospel, and background vocals by the Jordanaires, who were the voices behind Elvis!
Thank you.
Merry Christmas!
Hey There - you might also enjoy watching/listening to some of LeAnn Rimes music. (She did a medley of Patsy Cline's music at a Cline tribute.)
Sweet Dreams, She's got you, also I fall to pieces.
Please do sweet dreams it's my favorite of hers
That there is fire ya just can’t put out ain’t it AB? ❤️🔥
This is the best channel on UA-cam 😎 Keep it rockin bro 🤘
BRO, Today looking back on some reactions, you appreciate country artists. I was raised hearing country and western music all my life, from my mother, the only other music she'd listen to being Christian music. I'm a singer and have a pretty good musical ear and what my point is, I'm not able to distinguish a race or nationality lot of times, to wit Charlie Pride. Hearing him only on the radio, he sounds as pure "country" as all the legends. Btw, love his beautiful voice and his choice of music. A good example of the flexibility in tone and range, is his "live" version of "Kawlija", written and sung by Hank Williams. Finally, please look for any ELVIS "Live" from 1969. "Let It Be Me", or "See,See Rider"....would be awesome! THANK YOU!
Tragic plane crash🥲
You have great taste
My favorite female vocalist of all time ❣️
Do "Lovesick Blues" 👍
❤❤❤Legend
You know Patsy had soul in her voice... she could make you feel it. Fatal plane crash took her in 64 I think... b4 I was born
For Those climbed the stairs and searched the pile.
She had three little kids when she died.
AB watch the weather over there on the East side, the far west side is under the highest level storm threat warning. Praying for the whole KC metro, including your family. Be safe. 💜

Airplane hit a mountain, and they all died
I sang this to my 2 boys to get them to sleep.
Patsy Cline was killed in a plane accident, leaving her kids behind with an abusive husband. She was a classic. Hard life.
Stop the world and let me off By Patsy
Patsy died in a plane crash. But her husband was very much physically abusive to her when they were together
She was on the way to Nashville and her plane crashed I to the side of a mountain. There was 3 others in board w her. She was 30 and the top of her music career. She was the first female solo artist to be inducted into the country music hall of fame.
There's a movie Abt her called sweet dreams. Also the title of another of her songs
Plane crash😢
