Love that you’ve never heard this one before!! This is a deeply loved band that stopped touring when she had a kid and then came back. They are officially touring again and it’s great! I definitely recommend going through the rest of this album.
Amy Lee is just an amazing vocalist. Call Me When Your Sober is amazing as well, Basically her letter to Seether lead vocalist she was dating.."My Immortal" is HAUNTING like literally...
We told you Amy Lee has the voice of an Angel with a band from the devil. Heavy guitars and banging drums with Amy on piano and her angelic voice is a magical combination
Don't stress the video's imagery, hun. It was early 2000's - everyone was trying to relay so many different messages in 3.5 minutes vids, but it often went sideways. Amy Lee and Evanescence were a HUGE influence. Her voice is incredible, but more was a /gasp/ WOMAN daring to sing heavier rock! Imagine Dolly Parton rapping, then you're get a similar reaction to what most of us felt the first time hearing this or many other songs from their catalogue. Also, yes, it was Gothem-ish - DC universe, Daredevil (Ben Afleck's version). Best thing about that movie
Bob Seger is a great rock singer, songwriter & musician known for his raspy powerful voice. He wrote & recorded songs that dealt with love, women & blue-collar themes. "Turn The Page" is my favorite song by him. He had so many great songs especially in the 70's-80's such as "Mainstreet", "Still The Same", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame On The Moon", "Roll Me Away", "Like A Rock", "Shakedown", "We've Got Tonight", "Old Time Rock & Roll" etc.
This is one of my favourite songs of all time! Great reaction! Do me a favour, please and react to metal singer Dan Vasc singing this song. A male singer singing all the parts of this song. He will blow your socks off! After that you can go down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole with Amazing Grace, I’ll Make a Man Out of You, and hundreds of fantastic covers more! He covers all your favourite rockers. Journey, Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses, etc. etc. I LOVE all the originals and always will, but this man is something else. Do it! You won’t regret it!
You should go back and listen to early Evanescence albums to get just how beautiful her voice and piano playing is. She and her band played the college scene around Little Rock Arkansas until this song on a huge movie shot them to fame overnight. Had a few good albums before breaking up. Amy Lee, the singer and one other guy are all that remains of the original lineup but music still pretty good..
Love this song. I personally always saw the clown party as the masks we all wear in life. You can see that when the one girl lifts her smiling mask, she has been crying and her mascara is running. Reminds me of the lyrics to the song "Tracks of My Tears" (many covers to that, personal favorite is Dolly Parton's)
You need to do "Break In" which is a Halestorm song redone with Lzzy Hale featuring Amy Lee from Evanescence. Such beautiful harmonies. Do some Halestorm - I Am The Fire, I Miss The Misery. Lzzy, in my old opinion, has the best female rocker voice of today ✌
Evanescence is one of my favorite bands since I was a child. They still rocking it til this day, Amy Lee's vocals are one of the best female leads in rock. You need to check more of them and so many others with great female leads. Can't wait for those some time soon, also waiting on some more EXO.
@drdaze1968 8 minutes ago I've had the opportunity to see Evanescence live in first Monday, November 03, 2003 Venue: Wolverhampton Civic Hall Location: Wolverhampton, England, United Kingdom there first uk tours at was in the front row and was unbale to breath to see the bands see Amy Lee will blow you away. it from in the soundtrack of the film Daredevil. starring Ben Affleck
There is a girl named Violet Orlandi that often sings exactly in the register that Amy Lee does ( example Halocene plus Violet covering Linkin Park "New Divide") but has lately went much much lower down into alto and Contralto range. ua-cam.com/video/5i1u5ehpJzg/v-deo.html
This song was everywhere when it first came out and it's no shocker, it's fire. Amy Lee's voice is absolutely gorgeous and she was a bit of a teenage crush and I'm gay lol so that should say a lot.
'98/'99 and early 2000's definitely had many great bands. Like Simple Plan, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Bon Jovi (It's My Life is a hit in 2000, cmiiw), and many more (i forget the rest cause i'm unfocus now my brain kinda blank 🤭🙈) I don't know if you had reacted or maybe you are the fans of this band, but i would recommend you to Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR), and Roxette. Their discography are 😻💕

Evanescence - *My Immortal (official music video)*
“Help her” her ass does NOT need help 😂 Spider-Woman ahh abilities

Love this song.

This song was on the Dare Devil movie soundtrack with Ben Affleck in the year 2000 I think. Shot the band Evanescence onto the top of the charts!

This was in Ben Aflac’s movie Daredevil. Late 90s I think
Great reaction it was from the movie Daredevil that's why it looked like Gotham
This song is from the DC movie Dare Devil
