@@telopots I feel Assail can be tweaked into being balanced. Increasing charge time. Removing the extra targets modifier, stuff like that. Same with the empowered versions. But I think the lightening is just genuinely fucked and impossible to fix. Running it without cybernetics is awful and probably has no benefit over a trauma staff other than you don't have to aim it. Slightly more convenient for twice the peril and half the damage. But if they lowered the peril I think it would be too good at CC because it's perpetual and doesn't have stagger or knockdown caps or resets. I just think they fucked up with it.
I've wondered if Assail could be made more interesting if you kept the ammo, perils cost, ammo recharge rate etc same as it already is on Primary Fire, but the Primary Fire works a little bit like Zealot throwing knives: accurate, fast projectile speed, but does NOT autohome onto enemy weakspots. IF and ONLY IF you land a weakspot hit then maybe it jumps to a nearby weakspot. I'm hoping this would introduce a skill element to Assail without making it too weak, but of course you could adjust its damage, perils cost, ammo cost/regen rate, etc on top of all this. Aesthetically speaking, I actually prefer the idea of my Psyker using his mind to shoot fast-moving projectiles rather than the slow-moving ones we have now
I actually run a variant of the Skeeter's Christian Social Media Influencer build for the sole reason of pushing monstrosities of the map and trollin my fellow strike team members.
@@telopotsthat bad huh? What changes does Surge need to be better? Damage against Carapace and Flak are significantly less than Unyielding and Maniac for Staff Bound Smite, maybe that should get improved. Great gameplay, this was entertaining to watch
I’m new, is there any reason people keep suggesting to use the force swords? Most higher level players I see are using the dueling sword for it’s movement tech.
@@telopots What would you say is meta on psy rn? I’d like to get into auric as soon as I can & ik I can crutch p hard on assail for now, but I only use it so I’m not entirely useless to the team while I learn.
@@azyaln problem with the psyker meta is it flattens the game so hard you probably won't learn anything go all in on the left tree, perilous combustion venting shriek + creeping flames voidstrike dueling sword 4, spam balls all day and win
thought i would start using a staff this patch anticipating some cool talents to synergize but now they're just so fucking overpowered. once again im back to my recon lasgun with scrier's gaze and brain burst. even then the toughness regen is insane, having a lot more fun on zealot honestly.
what ae the best blessings and perks for the mk 4 duelling sword i have blessings riposte 3 and uncanny strike 3 perks i have weak spot 8% and carapace armor 25% locks used for uncanny strike rebless and carapace dmg are their better perks i should go for i tho now understand why ppl play duelling swords mk 4 i never killed cruchers and maulers that fast and it feels great only have to learn the range of it but it is a lot of fun
brainburst was trash before the patch and is even worse now because enemies have more hp. no greater feeling than trying to burst something only for the mob to get annihilated by someone before you get the cast off. the talent reducing the cast time more than before is really nice, but the standard burst should have a shorter cast time with shorter recovery, so you dont have to use your ult and blow all warp charges before every burst window.@@telopots
they split it into the standard brain burst and the brain rupture talent. the normal brain burst got nerfed by 33% and the talent buffs it by 50% again, resulting in no dmg change at all.@@telopots
So much OP stuff atm, it´s genuinely killing my sense of achievement. Not sure whether this is intentional - easing console players into the game - or by accident. Seems the game is turning into a direction of giving players easy-to-use weapons/skills that allow you to ignore basic game mechanics. Which is a shame because I really love the melee mechanics and how you can weave from melee into ranged and back.

illisi is pretty disgusting and they all have infinite dodges, their pushattack can pancake crushers
