A little surprised to see a court so close to those apartments, suspect that isn't gonna last. One thing you might mention is that in doubles its often a good idea for each partner to cover behind the other, that way you can approach the lob at an angle and then just switch sides to continue the point
lobbing is a great way to counter a team that is leaning forwards at the kitchen, even at the professional level. Especially a volley lob. Any shot that is effective is as a valid as any other (except for trying to bean someone in the head - which is dangerous)

Right. Neighbors uniformly dislike the pickleball sound. That is why many courts don't allow pickleball before 8am
The sideways shuffle step can work too, particularly if the lob is short.
Would you pivot on your left (non-dominant) leg if you were standing on the right side of the court?
Thank you for the tips. One question that I have is whether to run back in large or small steps. Can you advise on that?
Hope the residents in those apartments love pickleball!

Thank you. Gonna try that today.
There’s no comment in partners who takes lob ball on which side of the court.
With Rare exceptions, lobbing is for complete losers that cannot play pickleball.
