I think the owner must be proficient on a balance beam. I was holding on to my chair just thinking about walking back and forth on the second floor 🤣 Thanks for the tour.
I can't imagine being half asleep and having to go down those stairs to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
A loft isn't for me either, but a lot of people manage quite well, as I've seen many tiny and park model homes with lofts and stairs and even ladders, which are even harder to go up and down, all over the world.
Nothing like peeing off the ladder at 2am🎉
@@baddriver3580 🤣
People use pee jars, just like for camping in a tent. Women use them too. Go downstairs for #2.
Maybe for those who are a lot younger.
Tiny house designs have improved so much since this house was built that it’s hard to imagine that anyone would build a house with no living room space. The kitchen is adequate and the bathroom is spacious, but relaxing and living in the loft would be a no-go for me. I suspect the owner might have spent a lot of time in the other building/shed which might have been her art studio. One thing I can’t believe is there isn’t an A/C or mini split in the house, unless I missed it. I wish the owner the best of luck selling her home ❤️
@@karenjohnson6667 i don't know why a sitting area with storage etc wasnt built over the wheel well. It would work well there and if not that, some storage shelves.
Is there no living room area with a couch ? Am I missing that ?
Also how do you access the 2nd loft, that catwalk with no railing doesn’t seem very safe?
I noticed the same thing , no living room, weird
that catwalk without a railing is an accident waiting to happen. Must be designed for a gymnast or unicyclist.
🤸🤸♀️🤸♀️🚴
Guys, just buy a sofa with removable legs. Unscrew the back legs so the sofa rests on the wheel well, and then get legs that are long enough for the front to be even with the back of the sofa. Lowe's and most home supply stores sell legs that screw in, so it's an easy fix.
@@susanbeals7597 um no still a terrible design who wants to stare at the stairs? Are you a current resident? Which community and do you like it?
I think this house could be very livable for a person who doesn't have mobility issues with climbing stairs. Start by adding a railing for stairs and a railing along the catwalk, making it safe to use. A sofa or dining bar could go over the wheel well, which is now unused space. I have a sofa and never use it, spending all my sitting time in my favorite chair, so what's here now would suffice for me. The lofts have above average headroom, making them very comfortable to use. I'd turn one of them into a lounge/guest room. As someone else has mentioned, this house would be a short move to Han's new community in Alabama.
How is it heated and cooled? No mention of that. For the price, it should have a mini split. Have on installed for about 2K, and ask them to knock if off the price.
Window air conditioners will suffice
@@poisonlady1965 Yes, a window ac will suffice for cooling, but at this price you'd expect more than just suffice for cooling. A window AC is less efficient, noisier and more expensive to operate than a mini-split, does not provide heat, and takes away window space, while also being unattractive to look at, hanging out the windows. Only a mini split will suffice for this house.
That wheel well is a lot of wasted space! Big price for such a tiny space! Love all the white!
No living room,no screens on windows. Its ok but weird setup.Maybe $50k
This home is beautiful and there are many ways to put in furniture to make it comfy and cozy to your own liking. This just happens to be the owners way to make the way it works for her, which I love. The upstairs is fabulous and I as well, would spend my time up there. The windows are fabulous and I love them to be open for the fresh air and to hear the birds! What a gift!
This is a great home and it will have no problem selling for the price she is asking!
🏡❤️🏡
I like many of them, but this is not a livable full time home. It is a back yard ADU bedroom for company to visit. Not sure how you live in this as only a place to sleep. It is cute, but will take just the right person at the price point listed.,
If she is keeping the lot, she's possibly having a bigger, better designed tiny to better fit her changing needs.
Strange layout. No place to sit and eat, no room for a chair or loveseat. No air conditioning? I wouldn’t like going up and down those steps without a railing. Seems like a lot of money for such a tiny place that lacks basic features you need to be comfortable.
It says home will have to be moved. No lot included. This is one you will have to place somewhere else.
Is the lot up for contract? Cute home! Wonderful video.
Please contact owner for details
Where are these tiny homes? What state? I just discovered these videos. Are these homes for sale or rent? Are they in different locations? Just curious because I am really tempted to buy one. Hope to hear back!
In Newport, TN or Beanstation, TN
I understand the house has to be moved upon purchase, but where is it currently located? Thanks. (Maybe I missed this important info)
In the forest at incredible tiny homes community in Newport, tn
Newport tn at other tiny home community in the Forest.
No living room? Hmm
So many people leaving
ITH. One has to ask why.
Party because most of the renters are elderly single women. Stuff happens. Like illness and death.
And I can’t imagine being hunched over in that sleeping loft. Is that where your company goes when visiting?
I agree 🤔
Maybe because Tiny home builders and options are finally expanding in other states. IHT delivers within 100 miles now to accommodate. Also there is still a waiting list for those who don't live there yet.
Its beautiful if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all
🏡❤️🏡
I like the layout of some of the tiny home's, but not this one.
I love the craftsman. Hope to see Kentucky soon👍
Ky is coming. Home is on property. Waiting on plumbing and septic.
No mention was made of the other little adjacent building. Is this a storage shed or an add-a-box? Does it come with? If so, it would have been nice to see inside or at least get a description. Also does this house stay on the lot? Thank you.
Seems like common sense to say that if they had any intent to leave it, they'd be certain to indicate that, not to mention showing it.
No
The screened in porch stays with lot. Not part of house.
@@le_th_ It's worth asking. No need to be snarky to someone asking a question about it. As if to suggest she doesn't have common sense. Sometimes things are forgotten to be mentioned in videos.
Is there anyway to stay on that beautiful lot?
Ask the owner if that is possible.
She said in another reply that owner is placing another tiny house here.
@Stacey721 oh thank you for letting me know
Why does the home have to be moved off that lot?
The owner is keeping the lot.
So possibly building a bigger, better suit house for her needs.@@rhinestonesandwrinkles
@@lisasantak3632 I think smaller and one level.
When you say lot not included, does that mean that there will be key payment required? And if so, how much will that be? Thanks.
The owner is putting another
Tiny on this lot
@@rhinestonesandwrinkles So then the buyer of this house has to move it, correct?
@@jamesmorris8572 yes that is correct.
@@rhinestonesandwrinkles Thank you. Someone should snatch it up and move it to Hans's new community in Alabama. A short move to a nicely developing community.
@@jamesmorris8572 It's definitely not worth 70K. Pretty steep for this one that may have cost about 30K when new.
Can you explain what I've heard about residents in wooden tiny homes complaining about having a carpenter bee problem?
Carpenter bees like wood. There are some successful remedies to it though.
@@rhinestonesandwrinkles Hopefully, before the tiny home is damaged. I like the music you play with the recorded video.
@@rhinestonesandwrinkles Wondering if the homeowners fixed the problem before any damage was done to this tiny home?
@@kriscree8627 thank you.
@@kriscree8627 this house does not have any carpenter bee damage.
Hey Rhinestones & Wrinkles 👋
I've got a tiny house at Lakeland Ridge Tiny House Community that I am wanting to sell. Getting married and moving to my husband's house, so I no longer need the tiny.
How do I get hold of you to see if you would be interested in selling for me? I'm not too good with all this internet stuff, and not very tach savy unfortunately lol
Email me at rhinestonesandwrinkles@gmail.com
Thank you, will do.
Where is it located now? As i love the lot
Newport, TN ITH tiny home community in the Forest.
@@rhinestonesandwrinkles so why can't someone take it over?
Owner is building new one on the lot
Is this allowed to stay in the forest lot.
Talk to the owner about that please.
What's in the shed? Electrical hookups?
Storage is in the shed.
Nice
On or near a college campus would work for a college student. Someone will buy it. I'm not aware of any of these tiny honws not being sold that I know of. The conspicuous lack of info on why it's for sale or why it can't stay on the lot will leave everyone speculating. Why she's selling is no one's business, but would be good to know why it can't stay on the pretty lot.
She is getting a new tiny home and putting on that lot. I love the idea for a college student. 🏡❤️🏡
@@rhinestonesandwrinkles oh, cool! Because that is a pretty lot. So, there may be another lot available for whoever buys the home.
That tree right next to the house is split. It should be removed.
Some people are happy without too much socializing and would prefer spending space on more important priorities for their specific needs. Personally I'd rather spend my space on a really spacious office and just meet people outside.
Lousy design , no living room
Good luck selling this. $69.000 and it’s not a practical layout for anyone over forty . You have to climb stairs and hunch over to access the only place to sit. No mention why it has to be moved or what is with the other building that appears to be on the lot. Too many red flags.
To each his own.
It says home must be moved. Why can't it stay there?
Reach out to owner to discuss that possibility.
It’s very nice but not practical for a senior citizen.
Zoom out please❤
As much as I appreciate your videos, you don't pan enough out to really get a sense of space. Then just as I'm getting a sense of space as you move slowly, you'll spin around fast. Lol I know youre working on it, just to help you to get better with the camera. Thanks.
Good point! Thanks for watching.
Kills me is all these well off people are getting tiny homes and raising the prices of them so the less fortunate are screwed out of a good thing! They should have a income check that if you make over $25,000 a year you can't buy one😂 im just saying 🤷 cause I can't get a place in a expensive neighborhood unless I make more then that !
