Workers in hospitals like cleaners are the unsung heroes of this world. People don't value the critical role cleaners do in the world. They pay and treat them poorly.

@@harisbbbbaaa Nurses are working overtime because of the lack of workers and too many sick people from the virus. It is their choice, but at the same time, it kind of isn't, if we want things to get better. They don't work overtime for extra money. If they all decided to stop working overtime, a lot of people will die. Maybe you are young and not at risk, but if you happened to be in a life-threatening situation, and there were not enough nurses to help. Then I am sure you would think a little bit differently.

Absolute total lockdown now for 2 weeks maybe would prevent the doubling of numbers every 4-6 days after a week. U must get daily increase under 10 percent on average. As a Finn I do not think the swede leaders have 'balls' to do it. I think when 5.000 infected reached and still over 10% new cases daily = it's out of control..

If we compare our numbers with Denmark and Norway which has half of our population, we are not really far apart when it comes to numbers. Total lockdown will still not prevent the virus from spreading.
This wont be over until a vaccine is found, if that takes 6 months or 5 years is not known. If a country goes into total lockdown for 5 years it would not be the same again. You can already see alot of companies and stores closing and the virus has only existed in Scandinavia for like 1 month, imagine how the countries would look after 2 years, and in Scandinavia we are better off then most of the world.

Make no mistake I am living here in Sweden and it's awful!! They're just living all decisions to company owners most companies do not send people home when they're showing symptoms, you're forced to still work with people showing symptoms. Among my friends they're all saying it's the same situation for them. No wonder they're preparing for the worst... they're going to have to with the lack of information and quarantine rules!

@@Jungfrun1 no I am not stupid. I am merely reporting what I and my friends have been having to work with. In sweden it is typical you are paid 80% of your usual salary and many people will not and are not sacrificing so much of their salary to isolate for two weeks, since for many it is nothing more than a cold or common flu. Since it is then up to the company to ask people to leave, which is not in their interest either as they lose an employee for two weeks, there are many people who are forced to work with people who have symptoms.
Also while I'm taking the time to write to you, please do the world a favour and take a course in manners. Let's be real you would never say that to someone's face and in reality it just makes you look like the stupid one. Clearly people have different experiences across different sectors in sweden, the only think that is certain here is that you lack manners and without doubt only talk like that because you are hiding behind a keyboard. Pathetic.

Is it quite interesting how other countries criticize us about how we handle Corona? As if they have the recipe for it.? Our way of doing things is adapted to how we normally work. We have grown up taking responsibility and have quite high morale for the collective and lots of other reasons why we have chosen to do so. I and those I know are taking responsibility without suddenly having a government that changes shape overnight and scares the minds of its people, with that being said, I do not criticize other countries that have chosen their own path based on their population and expertise.

We dont know how long it will take until they find a vaccine for it. Are we going to shutdown all countries for 4 years if it takes that long for a vaccine? There will then be no food in the stores, no medicine in the pharmacies etc, most companies would go bankrupt etc. The world health organisation has not told anyone to shut down there borders or to take the whole population into lockdown, and Sweden follows what they are saying.

Sweden has the solution to this problem that saves peoples lives and the economy the same time:Isolate the risk group and allow others to keep their lives as usual (with some caution). Once the majority gets immunity the risk group will also be a lot safer. The world cant afford an extended complete lockdown.

Ahmad b. Salih narrated from Muhammad b. ‘Abd al-Salam, who said: I visited Al-Ridha’, peace be upon him, with a group of people from Khurasan. We greeted him and he responded. He asked each of us our request and fulfilled it. Then he looked at me and said: “And you, make your request.” I said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, blessings of Allah on him and his family, I complain to you of a severe coughing.” He asked: “Is it recent (hadith) or chronic (‘atiq)?” I replied: “Both.” He said: “Take one part of white pepper (al-filfil al-abyad), two parts of abarfiyun, and one part each of white hellebore, Indian nard, cardamom, saffron, and henbane. Sieve with a piece of silk and mix with an equal weight of honey which has had its froth removed. Take one grain (habba) with fennel water before sleeping, for chronic and recent coughs. Let the water be tepid and not cold. It will remove it [the cough] completely.”
