NEGLECTED OVERGROWN LAWN Hasn't Been Touched In Years, Oddly Satisfying TRANSFORMATION

  • I drove by this property a few weeks ago and noticed this crazy overgrown lawn. After getting in touch with the homeowner, he accepted my offer the cleanup his property. The front yard was pretty overgrown, but nothing compares to the way the backyard looked. I have never seen a backyard like this before in my life. That is not an understatement. This oddly satisfying lawn transformation will leave you speechless.

If I didn't have grandkids or a use for my back yard I would have loved it like that also. Love the forest look. I would have just cleared a spot by the house for some outdoor furniture and then sit there and enjoy the look, birds and probably squirrels. I wouldn't want to see my neighbors ugly yards either.

Hindsight and all the only thing I might have done differently is maybe been more strategic about the tree removal. Maybe allow for a bit more potential shade later now that is not getting choked out. The upside to the amount of removal would be the gentleman now has room for things he didn’t have. Maybe a nice shaded swing or a small fire pit with seats. Possibly a nice mulch path with some seats under the existing shade. Possibilities are endless now that he has a clean slate thanks to you and your family and friends hard work.

Brian, that wasn’t a reclamation, that was a creation! Nothing would really indicate there was ever a back yard there, but there sure is now. Great job and awesome to get some family help on that one. Be safe!

I have so many questions. How did it ever get like this? I’m surprised the city didn’t site him for a place for rats. I mean he doesn’t even have any grass back there. His neighbors must be in total shock. You did a great job. Now he needs to buy some grass seed. I can’t get over the transformation. What a difference.

Yes, hopefully the space can fill in and some trees a little further away from property can grow and thrive
