I always enjoy ur videos I’d like to fish with u someday we live here on Lake o the pines . I love them rainbows myself I have a 12.5 # 29”from meeker the white river is my pb .getting ready to go bow hunting in the morning don’t have time to fish now 😂

We went through meeker on my elk hunt but didn’t stop to fish there due to time. I may get in the stand tomorrow evening depending on the weather but for sure this weekend. You should come do some rainbow fishing in Canada. You can get some of great lakes giants in small streams during the spawn. They can get up 30 40 lbs. There is also a lake in Saskatchewan called Lake Diefenbaker. The world record for Rainbow trout was pulled out of there. 48lbs 42 inches long.
What I finds kind of funny about the river you are fishing is that fact that you can't keep any rainbows, but you can keep browns. You are more likely to see it the other way around hear. It's way rarer to hook into a brown trout.
Wow David those sound like awesome places to fish. Those are giants. And yeah that state has some crazy rules. I’ve always wanted to chase those giant white tails y’all have up there
@CATCHAHAWG Yeah, the biggest whitetail taking in my area of Ontario. Northwestern Ontario is 258 inches. That's a small moose, lol. I heard that it's the nutrients in the soil that makes them grow so big and have such thick racks. I don't know if that's true. Its great Black Bear and Moose hunting in Northwestern Ontario too. But the further north you go, the better the hunting gets. There are still parts of this country that no one has stepped foot on.
