Good night knock knock…

I work at one and I can tell you, the stuff they used on your camper isn’t a acid, it’s a degreaser. And when you get your truck washed get brightner on it. Cleans it up nice and they don’t brush it. The only thing they’ll brush is your chrome and wheels. Also next time I’d get wax on the trailer and rain x on the truck. I wash my truck there once a week lol never will I go through another car wash. You can even take normal cars through there we washed a corvette the other day. Anything that can drive Can roll through.
Great review. Thanks for the info
Great review- I always wanted to give them a try but was waiting for a review- NOW I got the review- I will definitely give them a try- thanks for posting 🍻
No problem Ed!
That's the bargain of the week!! I'd do that once a month if I lived near one of those places.
Lol, it was nice to get it washed in 10 minutes
Looking good JB. As Adventures stated, stay away from the acid wash. Whenever we have passed a beacon, the line is so long. Stay safe, keep it clean and happy travels.
Yup, the line was super long when we were there too
I use Blue Beacon all the time. Sure beats washing my trailer myself when it's 115 degrees outside. FYI, they do offer a hand dry.
Thanks for sharing this!
I have them do my semi truck occasionally. Only the tractor. Always have to double check the hood latches. They always forget. Best thing to do is to let them know the bad areas/ extra dirty spots. Or just a place to avoid. After they wash. Park up, and wax, or spray wax. Then you're good to go .
Yea spray wax is a must after this 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork Can you share an Amazon weblink for what brand of spray wax you're using?
I bought a power washer on sale from harbor freight for 70 bucks I haven’t been to a self service car wash ever since works great on my dually gooseneck trailer and RV
44 dollars for a complete wash of the RV isn’t bad at all.
That’s not a bad idea, a power washer is good for the bugs that smack into the front of the truck too
Hey bro, if you're ever in TX, Cali, or by a Blue Beacon in AZ, they actually dry off your equipment at those locations.
That’s cap my location in Texas. We don’t dry them off thank god! Check out Odessa Texas location
Having someone else do the washing.... best $45 ever spent!
Lol yup!
FWIW, according to Chad on the Changing Lanes channel Blue Beacon staff are not allowed to use acid wash on RV's. That's what the manager at the location he went to told him. Acid wash is only for semi trucks. Whether they adhere to that at all their locations is anyone's guess. I'm going to specifically ask them when I take my rig through.
Thanks Eric, the RV was brushed but I still think a harsh chemical was used because it was completely clean of any bugs and left over black streaks
Have think about using huge flaps hook to your hitch to avoid rock or any debris. To prevent damage to your rv
I haven’t had any issues with damage but it’s not a bad idea 👍🏾
I’m at a blue beacon as we speak I use them all the time I like them the best other than they won’t wash your frame out
Haven’t done this yet. Have heard that when you do you have to request none of the acid wash. Rainex formula is ok, but not the acid stuff. 👍
Yea I didn’t request it but for a 1 time wash, it won’t hurt it 👍🏾
Blow 1 replace 2
For the money that’s a heck of a deal. What kind of tire will u be buying?
I’m going with the Good Year Endurance tires 👍🏾
I tried it one time.
Unfortunately my rv is gloss black.
I cried for about a week…😢
Does any one know the name of the chemicals they use at blue beacon the actual name of acid
Brightener
The chemical is called brighter but it's mostly used for aluminum and honestly it would be difficult for you to get the same chemical since blue beacon makes its own chemical used at a truck wash if you ever happen to see a blue beacon truck in the highway there delivering chemical to truck wash..
what kinda tires you running bro ? ATs or Mud ?
I run a Nitto Ridge Grappler which is a hybrid hybrid
Has a blue beacon truck wash ex supervisor for over 11yrs I can safely say to you that yes we use a chemical called brighter is not really acid and is mostly used to clean aluminum and frames what really helps is the soap so it is safe to wash your vehicle but would recommend to wash on cool days or winter because if the paint on you're vehicle being so hot specially with arizona hot Temps of up 120f. The soap blue beacon uses can be just to strong for the clear coat of the paint of your vehicle also the water used to rinse is condition for it not to leave stains on you're windows or paint..
Brightner is acid, it may be diluted down but it's still acid. Which is why it does what it does to clear coat. It shouldn't be used on paint at all
There is no acid used on your camper
Blue Beacons are only as good as the people working there, had my truck come out clean at some Blue Beacon, they did a excellent job, and been to a few Blue Beacons where they did very poor job.
True for good service is often required dedication and experience and good management .. at every location they have comment card fill one up blue beacon take does very serious... you should find them at every location..
Please don’t take RVs to Blue Beacon truck wash we don’t have time to wait on people doing this kind of crap run a very limited time frame each day I mean no disrespect but this kind of thing takes away time while we’re working you gotta remember every time we’re in our trucks that counts towards our day we’re only allowed to have so many hours so many minutes before we have to take a break before we have to stop driving and we can’t go on no more and if we have to sit there and wait on RVsit makes us slight appointments and it cost us money time is literally money in the trucking industry
So because you're a trucker, you are entitled to go before anyone else, as if you hold some kind of ownership over it? Just for you, I'll take my fifth wheel camper there an extra time this week and I hope you're behind me.
