    Unless Wave pays 1.80+ for the smaller units they don’t pay the most. You should never have to pay for orientation or physical,plates or magnet signs

    you can get a clear ceramic film that will remove 96% radiant heat from entering your truck. Had it on my last Ram and it worked pretty well.
    expensive though

      I don’t have that option - unless the app isn’t working.

    Any regrets since starting? Seriously considering the rv transport. I would like to transport 2/3 trips per month. I live in the Phoenix, Az area. Can you pick up a load after dropping off In the same location getting you closer to home? Doing that until getting back?
    Can you pick up what you want to tow? Size of or type of unit?
    Liability insurance? Don’t you need full coverage for the tow vehicle? Thank you..

    Your window tint is illegal in PA, as well. If you take it to the wrong place for annual inspection, they'll fail it. Also, if you encounter the wrong cop, it's probable cause to stop you, and you can be cited. All that being said, many people in PA are running tint.

    So when you fill out your log book, your time that you will be using will always be your “domiciled location” AkA Pa
    So you will be either logged as, on duty not driving….waiting/loading
    On duty driving….
    Everything is 15min intervals on your log book.
    Remember you must have 10hrs off before you can start the following shift/day. And after 8 hrs of driving you must show a 30min break.
    And yes I still run a CB in both my truck and personal truck.
    I didn’t see your camper a Bill’s when I picked ours up.
    Not sure how to private message you but I will give you my number if you have questions about your log book

    Thank you for your outstanding efforts to share. Eagerly looking forward to commenting on logging out. Must go home first or can you continue on to family visits after dropping off. Safe journey

    • @TheRiverstoneLife
      @TheRiverstoneLife  5 місяців тому

      Yes, after you drop off your delivery, you can go visit family you just need to keep an active logbook when you head back to your home destination or to the next destination to pick up a load from where you logged off at. I Hope that makes sense Me and Robin are heading on a trip tomorrow together and we’re going to go visit our grandsons in Colorado after we drop our load And then we’ll see if we can get a load coming back and keep the video going. Hopefully it will all make sense. But as of right now this seems to be working the way I want it to. I did not expect to be able to go to Colorado already and see the grandkids so I think this will work the way I was hoping it was so far so good.

    Window tint is all about the DOT rules. Believe me, you don't want to roll through a weigh station with the front windows tinted. you will be pulled around back and put out of service.

      Thanks for the information. The window tint has been gone since day 1 of orientation - not a fan but it is what it is.

    What's the problem with tinted windows?

    • @TheRiverstoneLife
      @TheRiverstoneLife  3 місяці тому +1

      DOT does not allow tinted windows on the driver and passenger front windows.

  • @johnnyseely8473
    @johnnyseely8473 4 місяці тому

    Liability is the problem. Get in an accident unloaded and they can be held accountable. Thus they want you to log until you get home

      @@harryknutts8428 trucker here as well. It’s pretty simple really. Everyone would like to just drive a new f350 diesel and haul 5th wheels, and not have a set schedule and work when you want, etc. but the truth is there’s no money in it. Hauling one trailer is like 1.60 per mile to 1.80 per mile. So let’s say 1.70. It sounds like most the time you’re going right back to Indiana empty. So take that right down to.85 per mile before expenses. I mean it don’t take long to figure out …he’ll now this ain’t worth it. 80,000 dollar truck down to worth nothing in 4 years. Fuel prices.. I don’t think you can make more than about 30cpm doing this. I’ll stick with my 35 bucks a hour job local with all the benefits. Or I’ll make minimum 70 cpm regional . Sleep in a sleeper truck..not in the back of a f350

      @@harryknutts8428 yeah I looked into it multiple times. Probably like most truckers. If I thought I could make just 50 cpm after expenses I would do it…even without my benefits…just not possible. Not close
