Is it just me or does that Lucid look like the Robocop car?
what year is Robocop movie from. Like into the future time line in RoboCop?
It is just you
It actually looks like the Subaru SVX
The white with silver trim definitely looks like Robocop. At least that’s the first thing that popped in my mind. 😊
That scooby had some pace too
Did you notice that his hood scoop rip off at the end of the 1/4 mile
Might be my new "dream car:
agreed, Dream car
@@TheDragRace I'm going to see if I can get lucky in a couple years save up and buy a used one for around 100K🤞
What a Beautiful Car!
we need to review what beauty is
yes, Indeed
Oh really? Lucid has a v8 in the trunk? 😅 I t thought it was electric?!?!!
just joking over here. LOL 🤣
Was asking a funny question. LOL 😂
Fastest car on the planet
Lucid!
yes, Agreed
and it looks good
lol what's the point in drag racing over and over again when it's just press the pedal and and hold?
Lucid Saphire is a new car, good to see something fresh other than Plaid.
then what about automatic transmission cars ? same thing
Drag racing will die off sooner then later . All games have an end and this game is ending .
There is not much to aspire to once a big 4 door approaches 8 sec and is going low 9s at nearly 160 and otherwise as docile as can be and in many climates will go 300 miles if driven normally .
There is NO PURPOSE to something like a Demon 170 claiming fastest most powerful production ice car and it can't beat a 10k homebuilt by a clever resourceful Honda from a stop stoplight to 60 and fully emasculated by almost any EV with any driver on the street and then when it goes to it's presumable proper habitat to run on GLUE it still gets destroyed by a car that only goes marginally faster with the glue and does it consistently with no effort besides ability to operate a cell phone and has ability to handle some Gs without health issues in which case even then the car will manage to make it down track and call an ambulance.
There IS A POINT where the game is over . EVs will be 8 seconds with ease . When battery tech makes them lighter even faster times will be possible and govt will step in and limit it .
Ice cars should step AWAY from pulling wheelies to go slower and if your a fan as I am , concentrate on enjoying their ability to handle , get a lightweight car and indulge what is ACTUALLY FUN which is slow car fast and getting skills and technique dialed in .
To be a great drag racer you only need the car now . Paying for massive ICE power is of no use , particularly in a non AWD set up , and even then your gonna break stuff all the time and not be consistent and just get emasculated by luxury cars and then upcoming sports variants that will do 8s with an 8th grader piloting it .
Drag racing is dead but nobody told it yet . There's other ways to have fun on motorized things to concentrate on . That gaame is over
To trigger snowflakes like you
@@RandyJM21 The problem is not the speed, but the lack of involvement, skill, and unpredictability. If you do something that you know what to expect and it happens exactly the same every time, why would u need to do it again? The point of a drag race is to practice your timing, your control and get faster, while being at one with YOUR car. I'm sure a car doing 13s while rowing through each gear is a lot more fun than just stomping on the pedal and doing 9s with a Tesla.
Lucid owner says, "anybody's driving a Tesla, go look at a Lucid". LMFAO SMH No, Tesla > Lucid. Remember, anyone can build a car to go fast in a straight line. Model S Plaid with Track Package's lap time on Nurburgring is 7:25 . What is the Sapphire's lap time on the Nurburgring? I rest my case. 😆🤣
you have no clue
@@user9675 How are Lucid's sales? How soon before Lucid go bankrupt? LMFAO SMH
P.S. What's the Sapphire's lap time on the Nurburgring? 😆🤣
Look at a Lucid? For what? A Plaid runs 9.24s@152mph for $90K vs 9.3@153 for $250K. This guy must be sipping on the yak. 😂😂😂😂
buy an m3 comp
