That Gorge Bridge, Omg, 😃 Mom & Dad look nervous; So Happy Your family are all with you...Great Summer Traveling....Have fun! and again, Thank You for taking us along. 😎
Good evening Mr Adam Woo. Another amazing vlog. The only gondola I have been on was the ones in magic kingdom- Tomorrowland to fantasyland. The bridge crossing -😎thank you for the vlog- enjoyed.🙂
Sixty years ago my father insisted that we walk across the bridge, but at that time there were spaces between each plank so you could look down into othe gorge to the river below. Thus began my lifetime fear of bridges.
Went on the mini-railroad, the incline car, drove across in my minivan and listened to a train go through the valley. They had just redone the suspension cables that made me feel no safer. The Million Dollar Hiway and Ouray stand in my mind as well. Black Canyon of the Gunnison had recently been named a National park, 1977, 1996, 1997, 2000.
We love the nature / wildlife exploration vlogs! You've found so many incredible sites to share! It's awesome that you get to explore with your family! 😀
''Stay inside the cabin'' 😅😂 that view down was amazing! I like that you showed lots of different angles and lookout points. Had to smile at both you and your dad leaning on the hot railing lol 😊 Love the expression on that dinosaur at the end!
That's one of Journey's top five very best songs. So of course now I'm listening to it in It's entirety. Thanks for that AND the video!!! So many breathtaking views, this is one of your videos that I will watch many times. I think it was way cool that your family all went over the gorge together, in the same manner then y'all chose three different ways of coming back. Nice family. Nice video.
Thanks Adam for inviting us along for another great adventure this time with your family Thank you for taking us places that we'll probably never have the opportunity to go Looking forward to the next video
I am loving all of your Colorado adventures!! I have been to many of these attractions back in the 70's and a lot has changed since then. Thank you for sharing!!😀
I used to live in Canon City in the late nineties when the old frontier town still existed it had several old buildings then until the Hunt brothers bought it out and destroyed it. I did a lot of fishing in the Arkanas river, so many fond memories of how the City used to be. Thanks for a great video Adaam
I use to live in Colorado springs in the 70"s. It's beautiful! I loved the mountains. Your parents live there. I thought they lived in Florida where you are.
Are you talking about Buckskin Joe? It was actually purchased and moved to a private ranch in Gunnison. My uncle used to be a stuntman/gunfighter there back in the 70’s. Several movies were even filmed there, including Cat Balou and True Grit.
What a warm Schpadoinkly Day you had there at the Gorge Adam. Omg I just googled clips from the movie. Now I need to own it !! I can’t wait to tell my wife I finally found a musical that I want to watch with her !!
hello again Adam and the woo clan , another cool interesting video, i love seeing old steam trains , great view over the gorge , the bridge looked like a nice walk , well done and thank you again 😊
13:37 that is called a "Yurt". They are portable tents originating in Mongolia and still used by their nomad herders today. I've seen the modern version (like in this video) throughout the Rockies, particularly some private farmland areas adjacent to Glacier National Park. The orange carts on the bridge are Kubota brand utility vehicles. Most run on diesel. We have a few at work.
Adam how does it feel to be getting very close to 1 MILLION Subscribers? You Have done quite a bit over the years in many different ways so I feel you deserve this Milestone approaching, hope ya still remain the same with maybee a few new GOOD things added along the way....
Good morning Adam and to your parents and your cousin, it's nice to see them in the video. Your dad is funny, he's got jokes 😂, momma woo take it easy . Thanks for the adventure, it looks like a nice vacation you and the family are on. You have fun. Stay safe and take care.😎📸✌️
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome video! I think I'll pass on the gondola and the bridge because, I'm afraid of heights but, beautiful tho! I won't ever be able to face my fear of heights! Thank you for taking me along with you and your Dad and Mom and sister and her husband! YOU ROCK! Looking forward to your next vlog.
I remember when my parents took my brother and I here, it was part of the same trip where we visited the Sand Dunes. I’ll never forget how clammy my hands got standing right on the edge of the bridge looking down
It was so cool that you went to the area where Buckskin Joe's used to be. My family lived in Canon City when I was a child in the mid sixties and my dad told me about Buckskin Joes. I traveled through Canon City last year and went to the Gorge but I saw online that Buckskin Joes was closed but I didn't know about the trail. It was quite the attraction in its heyday.
So glad you saw the Big Boy in Canon City, I always think of you when I drive past it. I remember going to Buckskin Joes when I was kid. Also, you used to be able to drive your own vehicle across the bridge.
In the early nineties my husband and I drove across the bridge and back, then we walked across it. As we were walking across it, a pickup pulling a camper met us going the opposite way. The incline RR was running at that time as well. Thanks for the memories!
Wow you guys certainly had a adventurous day what great awesome veiws. I liked at beginning Adam you said who is excited, only your sister everybody was looking down and nervous. Now this is what you call a nice family outing.Take care from Universal Jamie.
Back in the Sixties I was about 8 and there was only a bridge here.No Zip-line and the Gondola was just one at a time and seemed small..The bridge had not been refurbished yet and was a lot more rickety. Looking down thru the slats in the planking scared the living you know what out of me! You also could still drive across the Bridge back then.
Great day Adam and so much beauty and the deer 🦌 were amazing and the Royal Gorge was an epic sight, one to ride the Gondola 🚠 that high up and to walk across that amazing looking bridge to get a view like no other this truly was a day like to remember thanks again Adam now with that peace ☮️ love and happiness to you Adam your mom dad sister and her husband and I’ll see you on the next awesome Adam the daily woo adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
That’s a really cool pedestrian bridge. As much as Adam likes trains, he should consider a cross country train trip. A vlogging trip across the USA or Canada with nice roomette accommodation could be fun.
@@conniecrawford5231 I follow among a few other Jeb Brooks and he vovered that journey a few days ago.. Simply stunning. On my bucketlist is also the Ghan and Indian pasific in Australia..
Love the Royal Gorge, was just there on July 5th. Next time I need to ride the train. Thanks for showing the gorge on video. Great trails nearby for hiking. The only thing , not the friendliest workers in the admission area. Years ago the gondola was a large single red gondola.
Beautiful area. I especially enjoy the areas like this with God's beautiful creations. Thanks for sharing the family video. Making memories are so special and fun. Your dad cracks me up every time. Then he says Gorge us. 😆 What a funny man and your mom comes up with some good stuff too. I love when your sister and her husband chime in too. By the way, how was the zipline? I'm so glad ya'll are together enjoying these times. Try to do as many of them as you can because one day you will be glad you did. Be safe and Happy Trails. ❤️
I was able to catch a glimpse of the Royal Gorge Bridge after the big fire that devastated the area. My dad had been on the funicular car that went down the side of the canyon. Great family memories . Thank you for sharing.
So glad you came to Colorado. Getting to see all the sites I haven't been to in a lot of years. Lots of changes and improvements through the years. We are patiently waiting for the opportunity to go to Cada Bonita. Enjoy your travels while you are here in Colorado with your family.
Hey Adam. In Colorado Springs they have the spectacular Broadmoor Motel which is very elegant and beautiful. I know your mom and dad would love to see that. Then they have the Cog railroad in the same area. That takes you up the side of Pikes Peak. You'll need some long pants for that ride. Because it's very very cold at the top.
Buckskin Joe's was awesome, I'm sorry you missed it. Thank you for digging in a little here in our patch of Colorado. Please feel free to home base in Pueblo anytime, it's great to have you😊

Adam The Royal Gorge always fun to go see and do stuff around there. The small tracks were left over remnants of a train ride that you can take from another tourist area called Buckskin Joe’s. Those tracks would run up against the gorge, There was an overlook you could overlook the gorge. There was a massive wildland fire through that area years ago, and it burned up a lot of property. I think that’s when Buck Skin Joe’s closed.
We went there in the early 90's.Did the Gondolla Ride, the mini-railroad and also the inclined rail ride.About half way down the ride broke down and stopped for about a half hour. A couple of older ladies were sitting just in front of us and one said "if this breaks loose and crashes i hope we go to Heaven" the other lady said " if this thing breaks loose we'll be heading the wrong way for that" The inclined railway took you all the way down to the river.

Years ago there used to be a funicular ride that took you down into the Gorge. That was pretty cool to stand up and ride down like on a sideways type elevator. No? The incline is still broken unfortunately... (i would know since I'm a local, been there recently, and always wanted to ride it, but never got the chance to before it was burnt up)
@taeron2739 I'm pretty sure if you read the original comment and were a local, you'd realize they are also a local. A town with 20,000 people shouldn't have such gatekeepers weirdos like you.
