I visited the castle in 2017. We climbed it too. It was late winter and freezing but beautiful. It reminds me of Edward Scissorhands for some reason 😂 My husband worked in CO for two years and said that wolves or wolf hybrids were kind of popular as pets. I never saw one up close before and I was surprised how big they were. *Side Note, I loved CO. It was beautiful and I loved all of the outdoor things to do, but no matter what I did, the darn altitude would make me so sick every time I visited.
This video takes bouncy castle to a whole new level..😂. You were very brave Adam, but glad you left the bridge to nowhere alone. 😱. I adore your mom and dad! ❤. I just want to give them a great big hug!!! Thank you for your videos Adam! ❤🙏🏼

Adam… that was Abbott and Costello on the wall next to whoopee, lol. I’m always amazed that the weight of several people standing on those kind of flimsy walkways doesn’t bring them down. Must be much more sturdy than it looks. I still wouldn’t trust it though. Excellent video, once again. Thanks for sharing!

I poured some concrete up at Bishops castle years ago when i worked for Gonzalez concrete. Jim is quite the character. One day he was carrying a piece of glass on some scaffolding about 75' up while the wind was blowing 😮

There was a story on the local news in Southern Colorado last night about a nonprofit raising money to get Jim Bishop an adaptive wheelchair. He spent 44 years building the castle, so he never got to travel. This will allow him to go explore the rest of the state. As of this morning, they have raised enough for the chair. Yay! I thought you’d appreciate that story since you got to meet him the other day.
Wow, I had friends growing up that had a wolf, they are NOT dogs 😂 That creature was feral, but beautiful. I love how the guy said he had respect for him ❤

When your mom asked if you were gonna go up there. My two year old said "no I'm not!"😂 I've been to that castle twice, the last time I went I also went to that grocery store to get some things for camping. There is a campsite about 15 minutes down the road from the castle. It's a great area. Both times were pretty cool, but I agree, that staircase is nerve wracking. Enjoy your time in Colorado, hope I can run into you.

It's been over 25 years since I've been there back in the day that dragon used to breathe fire and also there was a shock on the side that had det-cord wrapped all the way around it and warning signs everywhere to keep out or it would blow up it's has gotten bigger since I've been there and also somewhere in there on the top of one of the stairways is my name keep up the great travel Mr woo and I will keep up on the watching 😊👍
I spent a few weeks driving around the country and broke down in a town in Colorado and ended up spending a few days there, then went to Denver where I spent two days. After seeing many states and purposely getting myself lost in the capital city of every state I passed through I decided Colorado was my favorite state. I plan to move there sometime in the future. Ridiculously beautiful there. I was surprised at how flat it became after getting out of the Rocky mountains heading east, I wasn't even sure if I was still in Colorado for a bit.
Absolutely agree Colorado is gorgeous…north and south is completely different like 2 different states, mountains/snow and desert/tumbleweeds in the other…love it as well.

The drive through San Isabel alone is amazing. I live in co and on the day my husband took me there (I’d never been) there was so much mist and fog on the way. It was so surreal and beautiful.

im loving all the back road towns, ive been to pueblo a long time ago, im now living in sydney australia, but i used to live in a rural town here in australia and would often go for drives and find small town communities and explore, i see a lot of similarities with the small towns in parts of the states

SOOO many good places you need to eat in Pueblo. Coors Tavern, Nachos or Ritas Mexican food, The Do Drop Inn(worlds best pizza).
