Thank you especially since my first illustration was about the juvenile tea Rex which looks like a miniature version of the adult because I was trying to pay homage to the paleontology have a time where they just thought that the juveniles looked like a mini version of the adults but I decided to change it for accuracy

Like if a t-Rex already had a kill there would be no need for it to chase after three small apes on a floating piece of rubber. @haystackbill6187 that isn't as unbelievable as it sounds, carnivores are pretty territorial about their kills and will scare off any potential scavengers. Besides carnivores can do surplus killing to have more food to eat later or feed their offspring.
It's only right that it did. It's the T-rex equivalent of mom catching you doing something you weren't supposed to be doing-something the juvenile rex learned the hard way.

There are Seven to Nine year Olds all over the world who know not to go near bodies of water, without supervision especially in places like Africa or Asia where bodies of water are dangerous due to what can be lurking in it. This is behavior befitting a toddler or pre-schooler, who’ve yet to understand cause and effect. I’d blame this less on her age, and more on whoever raised her to have the awareness and sense that I could only call Sub-Brick.

I hate to say it's far from your best work, but it is one of the best scenes in the book. I am really happy to see it illustrated. I also love that you incorporated some JP concept art into it. That's a very nuanced reference and an inspired choice. Nice addition of sound effects and music too.

While I'd love to see a remake of the original Jurassic Park as a more faithful book adaptation, I would still absolutely encourage changing Lex from the book. I usually try to cut kid characters some slack, but god, was she far more annoying than she needed to be.

This is such a great scene and would have been a great addition to the movie! The characters sneaking by the sleeping T-rex and the surprise as it follows them into the water is bone-chilling! Originally, Stephen Spielberg wanted to film this scene, but technical issues with the T-rex animatronic and limited technology forced it to be cut. Could have been amazing if it worked out.
No, it would have worked, they said the scene would have taken too long. Fans were mad they didn’t include this scene which they kind of gave us in Jurassic Park 3.

The evil red eyes one of them gives Lex is hilarious in such a tense scene Tortoises can't swim Tim. And Dinosaurs aren't reptiles, you know this. And these monsters aren't dinosaurs, they're abominations.

@@alejandrovallejo4330 exactly. a lot of people miss the point, Lex is a literal 7-8 year old kid. kids aren’t always the smartest and any other kid would’ve been as equally frightened as Lex if they experienced the same horrors on Isla Nublar.

She is just acting like a little kid her age would, we all did things like saying we wanna go home at times where we would not be able to for long periods of time, demanding food when the nearest place where anything edible can be bought is hours away down the road, screaming at the top of their lungs when they we got scared and so on.
The image of the sleeping T-rex sitting against a tree with his back legs stretched out in front of him was the only ridiculous image in the entire book. I'm glad you didn't actually draw it. Where would the tail go? :p
