It's been a while since I read the novel, I had forgotten how badly I wanted to punch Levine in the face. Still, this is easily the creepiest scene in the book.
They should make a TV series about the book. Imagine episodes dedicated to building up the tension and atmosphere of these scenes. (Wistful thinking in this age, I know, but one can still hope.)

I remember Michael Crichton wrote the Book with the intent To match Steven Spielberg’s type of directing so I’m only thinking that this Carnotaurus scene was supposed to be all CGI

I have a feeling Michael Crichton wrote the scene to be intended as a purely CGI Generated seen because Michael Crichton made the second novel for the second movie for Steven Spielberg

@@Jurassic_Allosaurus I was interpreting the orange flecks as their eyes at first and that looked really hilarious. Later on I realised that they are not having big orange eyes. Nicely done. I'd love to watch more.

Watching your work helps me truly dive into the story and image what was happening! You're amazing, thank you so much for your hard work to give us these!! I am always watching for new illustrations!
Thanks I understand how you feel because when I made the illustration back in 2021 it was really hard to map out how the scene looked and trying to find a description was a huge task but I did it to the best of my ability Anyways I’m planning to work on two fan films hopefully they’re gonna be good and I don’t know what my next illustration is going to be but I have an idea in my mind and it might be interesting

A few reasons. Spielberg had his own ideas. And as interesting as the book is, there are several portions that talk about Evolution and extinction extensively, which are interesting to read about, but for a film, would get pretty tedious.

Thanks a lot of people didn’t really like it because they said that it didn’t appear in the novel and I even made a short video explaining why they had the chameleon Lake eyes. And yes, I did base it from the Lost World arcade game.
