This Zürich itinerary was based on several visits to the city. It consists mainly of walking around old town Zürich and a side trip to Uetliberg.

Augustinergasse to Lindenhof ≈ 5 minutes
Lindenhof to Fraumünster ≈ 9 minutes
Fraumünster to Grossmünster ≈ 3 minutes
Grossmünster to Sechseläutenplatz ≈ 8 minutes
Sechseläutenplatz to Lake Zürich ≈ 1 minute
Lake Zürich to Niederdorf ≈ 12 minutes

How many hours it took you to complete your Zurich tour?

Derek, thank you for your question. The old town walking tour was approximately 4 to 5 hours. It depends on how long you'd like to stay in one place. If you include the Uetliberg side trip, add another 2 or 3 hours. Effectively, it's the whole day. One tip is to start early so there will not be many people at the Lindenhof.

Looks like one day is enough for Zurich. I overbooked our hotel accom, 3days, 2nights 😦...we're planning to hit Zermatt after Zurich via Chur for Glacial express. Salamat

I just came back from there and I could have easily spent 3 days exploring in Zurich.
