Here's the problem. It makes "Viper V10" sound without making "Viper V10" horsepower and torque. If that motor made 500hp and 550-600lb-ft of torque, it'd sound great.
That V10 may not be able to get that beast moving with those big tires like a diesel, but it doesn't sound terrible. I'd be curious to hear one with that same setup, but with the cats still on it. Don't get me wrong, I love deleting cats on cars as much as the next guy, but one thing I've learned is some motors just sound better with them left on, and I think those v10's might be one of 'em. The MagnaPacks give the engine a strangely 4-cylinder/6-cylinder like sound. It's flatulent and just flat sounding. The Carvens sound better, for sure, but somehow, it still doesn't sound "GOOD". Maybe it's just the 10-cylinder configuration...? Dodge Vipers sound odd, also....
I think it's the X pipe thats doing that. I've heard the Ford V-10 straight piped and it sounds so much better than this. It has that exotic Lambo howl to it, much better sounding that the Dodge V-10. The Ford V-10 has a 90° block, but has a even 72° firing order because of the split pin crank, and a balance shaft. Thats y the Ford V-10 is so much smoother than the Dodge
I'd switch the X-pipe for a dual H-pipe, and I'd run dual exhaust into the quad tips coming out at the sides, I'd switch those mufflers for some bottle-style flowmaster flow-fx mufflers, and finish it off by adding a couple J-pipes to eliminate drone.

A v10 will never sound as deep and badass as a v8. It’s a function of the even number of cylinders on each side vs an odd number for a v10. It’s just a fact. That’s why v8s and v12s sound great and v10s and v6s sound like crap. And before anyone says “but the Lamborghini blah blah blah” nope I still hate the sound of a Lamborghini v10
