I am liking your new format with the Home introduction Olga... Very nice.... I used to enjoy running, many years ago.... But now I just enjoy the scenery and people having fun.... great video Dear Lady.... keep safe and Happy.... :-)))) xxxx
Thank you, David. I did it today at home to save time. Ideally probably it's better to do it on the place of the event. But I didn't think about it and I didn't really plan on filming anything at all. But I ended up doing it a little bit.
@@OlgasBritishFells I think it works well.. A little introduction and explanation of what is coming up is good... And seeing you is always good.... :-))) xxxx
Your filming is just fine Olga , you already are doing a good job , no need for any change or going any faster . Already you have got a very solid commentary and contributions photos from other runners like David Peter Morrison .
Enjoy your race tomorrow, Mark. If you have a GoPro at least you can film yourself and run. With the chunky phone, I find it so difficult to hold it on a selfie stick and to film myself run, it's practically impossible. I look forward to seeing your race footage.
Oh what a shame, I didn't even realise we were going to go to Walton-le-Dale. I thought they announced the pub at the start. Someone should've sent you a message. Sorry, Jim.
Very comprehensive account with good footage of the racing terrain - some very rough, almost trackless ground on this one - you always catch the important parts of the whole event and, more importantly, you're able to transmit a sense of the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the race - 10:34 : "Olga-Vision"
@@OlgasBritishFells I've seen other 'embedded' runner videos and they only show a limited number of other competitors. Thinking back, I used to see the same runners when I did the midweek Peak District races - I'd leave them on the ascent, they'd pass me on the descent, and I'd hopefully catch them on the flat or the road. In many of your videos you're including footage from your family and slideshows from other photographers - and you nearly always include the prize-giving, which acts as a nice epilogue
Very detailed and interesting account of your running and videography, and how you combine the two! Definitely challenging to get those shots whilst you're running. Nice to see Pendle Hill in the distance!
Have you heard of the insta go 2 camera Olga? It’s a tiny POV camera that you could attach to your race vest or hat and could be easier to film your races with. The sound quality isn’t that great on them though so it would only be good with your voice over sections.
Hi Olga I've done that race after times myself not a easy start to it up to the tower then the fast down to Jacob's ladder another hard pull across the tops down to aggies staircase then fast again to the finish if your interested there is another race at tockholes on the 7th of July.
Mum, I think you forgot to switch on your image stabiliser on your camera here
I enjoyed watching your video today. You did such an amazing job. You have a lovely channel

Thank you for a great capture of a cracking event, super video. Thanks also for helping me find the bag I'd left behind :)
No worries. I am glad it was found.

Thank you Antonio, you are always very kind.
Super video and a great job by second camera operator, Bill! ☺️
Bill should be an expert now at being a camera operator. He had so much practice during the time while he was injured.
Some interesting thoughts about filming races, Olga. I'm going to try filming one for the first time tomorrow. Should be interesting! 😄👍🏻

Agreed. I just film myself vlog style so there's no expectation of quality. But Olga's work is fantastic.
another great video Olga. I didnt get the message about change of pub after the finish si it was nice to see our priz e winners. Well done.

Thank you Gordon. I only film little glimpses of the events. It would be so much better if I could keep up with more people.

Your favourite Pendle Hill ;-)

Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into it when I have a chance.
Cool video Olgs
Awesome 👍

Hi Peter, it was first time I did this race. I did Tockholes one before, in 2018 I think. Thank you for telling me when it is on.
