I feel so disappointed that it went completely downhill. They don't have cooking shows anymore. I no longer watch the food network because of the boring grocery game shows. I don't want that network anymore so I asked my cable provider to cancel it. I just don't like it anymore.
I think it's more like a club than a Network. They have the same cluster of Host chefs and Judges and it's like nobody outside "the family" is allowed in and very easily black listed to protect the network.
I bailed when and the game shows started. I haven't watched TV at all in years. But before I kicked the habit I watched the PBS cooking shows. Nice and calm.
I'm glad I'm not a celebrity. I say what I think and try not to be insensitive or hurtful, but I'll be damned if I cater to people who are scraping to find anything to be offended by.
I have a 12" stainless steel with a copper bottom pan and a stainless steel chef's knife I bought at K-Mart at least 20 years ago with Martha Stewart's name on it. Both pan and knife have been and still are used on a regular basis. They can't be beat at any price!!
We too have those pots and pans and still use them. Though not as often as the nonstick ones. We now have an electric stove for the first time in our lives. I'm curious how the stainless ones work on it compared to nonstick. With heat being hard to control on electric i've been thinking of using the stainless more to get a feel for them on this stove.
She was committed to a book tour at the time and couldn’t schedule it. Maybe she thought the kid’s time would run out and he wouldn’t get a wish, so better if he made another choice.
With the exception of Robinson and the tragic death of a child……the rest pale in comparison. These cooks go on TV to entertain, hardly an idol to look up to. They are human just as the rest of us.
Right! Mary Soto, a year before the pandemic hit I planned on retiring early so my older daughter could start college because she stayed home to be an aide to her sister so I could work, I also took out a part of my 401k to help me out until I could officially retire, but I told my daughter let's not tell anyone our business about the money. Well the majority of friends and family assumed we were broke and left us alone which was ok with me I enjoyed the privacy, now that we're kinda getting back to having little get togethers people ask how are we and how did we make it through the pandemic I just say we were taken care of and that's it. If people know you have money they'll think up reasons to borrow or help you spend it by inviting you somewhere hoping you'll foot the bill or hint at how hard of a time their having that cost money. I've learned that true friends and maybe some family don't want anything from you but your friendship those are the ones to spend time with because you all pitch in to have a great time.
Read your Bible. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil (though I'd strongly disagree - people who work hard and save money rarely get into trouble, especially kids. No, they are not just "people" or they wouldn't have restaurants, shows and cookbooks.

Anne Thornton’s show Dessert First wasn’t renewed for a third season because she was accused of having plagiarized her recipes from Ina Garten and Martha Stewart.

I felt terrible about Paula Deen. She did not deserve to have her career destroyed over thoughtless comments. Does destroying others make you feel better? We loved eat at Casa Mono, Mario Batali's Basque restaurant - cozy, incredibly food and the one time he was there he was super entertaining yet always "teaching"
Food Network has sucked for years unless you’re into competition shows.
I agree
Thank you!!!! Finally a real person!-!!
Amen
I have a 12" stainless steel with a copper bottom pan and a stainless steel chef's knife I bought at K-Mart at least 20 years ago with Martha Stewart's name on it. Both pan and knife have been and still are used on a regular basis. They can't be beat at any price!!
We too have those pots and pans and still use them. Though not as often as the nonstick ones. We now have an electric stove for the first time in our lives. I'm curious how the stainless ones work on it compared to nonstick. With heat being hard to control on electric i've been thinking of using the stainless more to get a feel for them on this stove.
all Food Network is a dam game show. never watch them anymore
I have met Ina Garten many times in person and she is just so lovely and down to earth as she appears on her show
She was committed to a book tour at the time and couldn’t schedule it. Maybe she thought the kid’s time would run out and he wouldn’t get a wish, so better if he made another choice.
Hello, how are you doing.
With the exception of Robinson and the tragic death of a child……the rest pale in comparison. These cooks go on TV to entertain, hardly an idol to look up to. They are human just as the rest of us.
Terrible, awful and horrible people!!😡
The Neely were keeping up appearances!
As for Jeff Smith and allegations of sexual assault I know it's true because my brother, being from Tacoma also, was one of his victims.
That's what we go through when everyone wants your attention and funds.
No. That's what they go through when they want attention, adulaton & big bucks. There is a price for entry.
I think Bobby’s star should go to Emeril. He is the true star.
Yes! He saved the network!
Bobby Flay doesn't deserve the star.
I find Alton Brown to be refreshingly honest and brave.
and very comical as well. 👍👍
Wow shows you how money is the root of all evil. We make these chefs stars when all they really are, are just people.
The LOVE of money is the root of all KINDS of evil
Read your Bible. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil (though I'd strongly disagree - people who work hard and save money rarely get into trouble, especially kids. No, they are not just "people" or they wouldn't have restaurants, shows and cookbooks.
Met Bobby flay and the first thing he said to me was, “do you know who I am?” lol 🤔 😒
Sunshine 🌞
You should have say, 👎 NO!!!
Man!!! Should have responded to Bobby F.""" No,I don't know who you are """!!!°
I would have said, “do you know who I am?” Lol
I've always said if I ever had a celebrity say this to me I'm thinking of the first celebrity they vaguely resemble and calling them that.
Damn you real life exposin they a*s 😭🤣🤦🏽♀️
Well that’s great to apologize but. The damage is done. Some are really snobs.
Its life we all not perfect its only because they in the lime light do they get scrutinize.I love cooking shows there to see the food and skills how they act or what they say doesn't phase me.
Along with becoming a chef comes the “ Im a chef” entitlement. Sadly they think they can do or say whatever they feel like.
And they can...its America.....for now anyway.
Your insinuation is that these chefs are no different than anyone else. You’re right; so yes, they can do whatever they like.
@bettyshaffer8289 "this is America.. for now" what does tht even mean?
I always wondered what happened to these chefs on Food Network.
Take a note :……..Success does not give you a license to say or do anything you want .
I use to watch Food Network all the time....after yrs of watching the same old chefs I stopped!
Now everybody just wants to be a star....I want them to hire NEW chefs and just COOK FOOD!!!
The bottom line about any Food Network show...Nobody has a gun to your head, making you watch. Have they never heard of a remote control?
They make enough money ...not to be worried about who says what .....its life drama
Don’t care 🤷♀️ and don’t like any of them. 👍
Way to go. Brown....love your show 👍👍
No one should be so famous to not cook with a sick child who adores you, I really love her, but that was shitty
This video is missing the Sandra Lee Kwanzaa cake where she slathers an angel food cake with doctored up frosting, huge candles and "acorns" (which were really corn nuts) and sunflower seeds all filled with canned apple pie filling.
WOOOW!!!! I've always felt that there was something WRONG with that show. Thank was for this. Per Bobby Flay, he had an affair with, and married Giada, check your facts and revise.
He NEVER married Giada! Check your own facts.

WHY DOESNT THE FOOD NETWORK SCREEN ITS STARS BEFORE THEYR'E HIRED??!!
Anne Thornton’s show Dessert First wasn’t renewed for a third season because she was accused of having plagiarized her recipes from Ina Garten and Martha Stewart.
Paula Dean was unfairly fired for allegedly saying a racial slur in private decades ago, when most use the same slur in casual conversations and lyrics to this day. The double standards we've created are mindboggling.
Hmmm, I DON'T understand why that person's (can't think of his name) WOULDN'T let his son go on set with Ina Garden, hell that's what he wanted to do AT FIRST!!!
Lesson here children…don’t go on tv!
We are all bloody Human!!! FFS
Not when you beat & murder a baby..idiot
I remember I started watching the Food Network with an Alton Brown show.
I watch cooking shows because I like to cook and try new recipes, not to watch so called chefs eat other people's food and act like it's not good enough for them.I only watch the cooks that actually cook, not those crap contest cooking shows.
I can’t stand Bobby Flay, Giada, Robert Irvine, the Neeleys, Alton Brown or Mario B.
The Food Network became popular because people want to watch chiefs cook … they are just people, not perfect like some of the people watching
This is just ridiculous! Silly 😝
Hello, get over yourselves ..stop taking everything so personal
Tell them
I still love you Paula Deen and always will. You are real you cook real food I am from Nashville, TN and I use whole milk, butter and bacon grease. Have you all out their tried it? You will love it.
Bacon grease is worth the amount of gold.
Yeah I eat that and I live in New York lmao
Lmfao 😂😂😂 wow you're wild for that
I find the American Cooks on this show use too much sugar and butter in their recipes
I am so sick and tired of people being so darn sensitive and thin skinned and race always being the center of the issue !!! It would be nice if people stop being so thin skinned! !! We're all are born the same and die and bleed the same people are people !!! Stop being ridiculous !!!
Imagine how people feel when they have to live everyday realizing that things have gotten worse !
Stop negating other People's real experiences.
FAKE COOKS AWFUL
You mean, Bobby Fway? Lol.
Shame on you - this is nothing more than jealous people who hate other's successes. None of these Food stars claim to be perfect, none of us can. To hold them up to such a standard is nothing more than destroying and tearing down people and punishing them for their success. Sorry, but stories like this are little better than gossip - you know, those tasty morsels that go down so good, but end up poisoning one. The reporting of this is overplaying your hand. I felt terrible about Paula Deen. She did not deserve to have her career destroyed over thoughtless comments. Does destroying others make you feel better? Does it show grace and class to throw someone's mistakes in their face and dance gleefully while you enjoy your special role as judge, jury, and executioner? The cause of all these scandal stories is plain and simple jealousy - the green monster.
