Saw her on a thanksgiving show with Ina Garten and Bobby flay. She was snippy and almost rude to Ina. Have not respected her since then.
I saw that one too. It was so obvious. In one segment, Ina was getting ready to explain her recipe, which I really wanted to see, and Giada just butted into the frame and literally started explaining her own recipe. So incredibly rude!!! Ina took it in stride. She makes 10 of Giada!

Reminds of mean cheerleaders in school with all the fake smiking. I m sure she turns that off for family and relaxes but I don t watch her shows because of all the fake smiling. Bobby on the other hand has a genuine smile and you can even tell when he s peeved on cooking shows. He is genuine. I think being a celebrity is just as lonely as being in a love less marriage. Everyone said it wasnt true love that i didnt actually love her as much as i said i did. That i would get over her and find someone better. I wanted nothing more then to prove them wrong. That i did love her and loved her more then anyone else ever would. In part i did this to silence my critics and to prove to her that what we had was real and unbreakable. Now at this point ive come to realize that im so broken nobody attractive will ever want me. Ive had many ugly women approach me and ask to fix me to show me love. Ive refused them all. Every recipe of Giada’s that I’ve made has been very good. I can’t say that about many of the other recipes I e tried from other celebrity chefs.

Giada is a great teacher and chef with accessible, doable recipes, much like Ina Garten. She plays up her sexiness, but it is just her trademark, not anything to do with the quality of her work. She did not set out to be a celebrity and probably has found a style of presenting herself that she can manage as her public facade. It doesn't mean that she is a bxxxh. Celebrity chefs don't owe us their souls and we don't have the right to touch people we don't know just bc they make their living in the public eye. Go by the quality of her work and you don't need to love her, just enjoy her recipes.
The whole base of this tale of sordid woes is basing your marriage on feelings. Disney teaches us that we should follow our hearts, that is fairy tale nonsense. Marriages are to be based on the action of loving, not the feeling. We are to be committed and keep our promises - the vows never say that you should make your partner happy. Happiness is a choice, not a result of how we feel. I too have learned the hard way. If people are relying on their feelings to decide the fate of their marriages then the result is always failure. Good feelings are nice but they are the result of choices and remaining faithful to #1 God, #2 our spouse.
