Just bought a Qy-10 on eBay and also a seiko Mr1000 which will hopefully arrive later in the week. I was outbid on a qy70 yesterday I should have kept up the bidding but such is life. I just wanted something that sequences in real time to augment my Arturia beatstep, until, I get my old alesis mmt8 back after lockdown. Back in 1990 when the qy10 came out a friend of mine and his collaborators took second jobs in order buy one between them and he ended supporting 808 state, and started N.R.G which was his own record label all of the back of the qy10. I do the bulk of my sequencing from my iPad, but sometimes it’s nice to have hands on with some retro sequencers. I use my beatstep to sequence my Behringer model d and my ms101 and crave if I’m doing dance music but for anything else I need real time for playing chords lead etc.
So cool Stephen ! I love this kind of stories. Imagine, getting the QY10 and ending up with 808 State ! Awesome. Have fun with your new sequencer/synth/drum machine my friend ! Cheers !
Absolutely great! Beautifoul choice of sounds and amusing results!! Keep it up man!!! P. S. I must say...maybe I'm sick but I love also the crude sounds of the Qy10!
You have great talents. I love what you have done.😊

Why don't you take the stereo out of the mixing desk straight into the tascam ,recording all at once ?
It’s for mixing purpose (it’s a 4-tracks). Usually I use all the tracks. Hey, thanks for watching ! 👍
Nice tune! is the kp3 known to have a really tight midi clock?
Thanks ! Honestly, never used a KP3 though I would say it’s probably spot on - KORG’s machines are GREAT machines.
