Those are bearings in the knife. Robeson first used bearings on their Mastercraft series sometime after 1920. Emerson Case perfected them in 1948 while president of Robeson Cutlery Co. Like so many other things, bearings on traditional knives are traditional. I was wondering if you were going to mention those fishing poles.😅😊
Thanks for checking it out, during nice months i love keeping them very handy!! I've never owned a traditional blade with bearings and something i'm really not in to at all, I just wish they had been up front with the description on these.

It’s the yellow jacket series, not sure about the washers but I’m not a fan of that and is something they should disclose. Thanks for checking it out!!
