I love those campers! It is all my grandfather carried for most of his life. He thought why carry just a knife when you can have a few extra tools with you at all times. And that book looks pretty awesome!
Beautiful amazing condition on that earlier Camper! I’ve had the great book for 30 years. There’s 3-4 on EBay as of yesterday. Love the Western knives. Thanks for sharing! Best! Dwayne
Man I love those camo knives but still have never owned one, looked at tons but just not found the one for me yet,but the western will be one I’ll be checking in on! Thanks for sharing them and that sweet book! Hope you guys are having a great weekend!!
@@865knives thanks very much for checking it out brother!! Traveling yesterday and found a brand new Tennessee Orange Soddy jr for 50% off. Total was $20.32!! Couldn’t believe it!!
I recently got the book off ebay, very informative. One thing to note, in the dating section there's a paragraph saying that the tang stamps are not always gospel & can be misleading. My camper has the older stamp too, is your Bowie marked on the guard or the tang?
Yeah buddy, nice comparison. Also notice the model from Kent is the 901 (not the S-901) and it has the larger openers so that puts it between 1955-early 60's...good call BigJ. Great book!
@@bdh3949 yep, it definitely has some very unique differences for sure!! They are just fantastic and the info in the book really helps with finding info on some of my older pieces!! Thanks so much for sending it over!!
Great video! I absolutely LOVE ALL these knives. But I LOVE that fixed blade the most. Would it be too much to ask what the pattern number and name of that knife. I’ve got to start to try to find one like it. Thanks. ( I know it’s a Western. But I am wondering if the knife has a pattern name and number?)
Great knives brother. Can’t believe how expensive knife books are. Thanks for showing them. Have a blessed evening
Thanks very much!! Have a great day!!
Awesome knives brother! I really never had any westerns till I started seeing your collection. They are beautiful knives! God Bless Y’all!
