Looking to tune your PC for higher CPU performance in 2022!? In this video we cover how to OPTIMIZE your CPU for Gaming & Performance in 2022 to help BOOST FPS, Reduce input latency and help FIX FPS stutters
Do not disable HPET. The reason you seem to get “more FPS” is that HPET allows your computer to make precise calculations in time and that is the, “per second,” part of, “frames per second,” which is why you start to see different FPS values. Not because you’re actually getting more frames, but because your frame counter has to use less accurate seconds to calculate them. If I have 10 frames per second, with HPET enabled, my frame counter shows 10FPS. But if I disable HPET, one second becomes less accurate, so I might end up with 11FPS or 9FPS. The difference magnifies with larger FPS values.
For some reason disabling HPET is a popular "hack" in the Overwatch community. I have to actively fight against it on their tech support forum as a solution to frame stutter. 😭
I want to say that I only did the regedit one, and it made Warzone much snappier. I can’t really tell if it improved the fps, but I have almost no stuttering now, mouse feels more responsive and less fps drops in areas like factory and resort. Thanks for that
3:15 literally helped me so much since im using ryzen. My FPS went from 70 fps with frame spikes lower to 30 and when i changed that setting it make it 70+ all the time! Thank you so much!
That's the way to go. No 2 minute intro, no obvious or obsolete 10-year old advice like update your windows, check viruses, and you deliver information quick enough. Honestly, I didn't expect to find out anything new, but I did. Much respect man.
@@spacejamgaming before doing this export your settings with the export button up, then try changing your settings, if this increase the temp of your laptop or you don't like the result you can always change it back by importing the file that you exported before
Amazing. This made a huge difference for me . I did all the changes except for downloading that software and overclocking and got rid of a lot of bottleneck. I think it's a 15 - 20 fps average increase across the board. My cpu upgrade can now wait awhile.

More importantly, the way you explain so that people can understand complex procedures is what makes you stand out of the crowd not to forget how in-depth and advanced your videos are. Keep up the good work, mate. And thank you a lot!
Thanks for this! After modifying Windows registry values I couldn't believe what a difference it made. It's pushing more onto my GPU and less onto my CPU that was bottlenecking. This was exactly what I was looking for because I was running into issues with switch emulation and now I'm not at all whatsoever.thanks!
I watched a ton of his videos and didn't know there was more. I've had my pc for about 5 months and these adjustments helped stabilize my fps, use a higher percentage of my gpu whereas before in some games I was getting only 50 to 70 percent and now I'm getting 80 to 90 percent, and gave me a noticeable difference in the mnk responsiveness which surprised me. I would like to mess with the bios but I'm going to take my time and check out some videos.
the way it just cuts off at the end is lovely. For anyone out there wanna know what he was gonna say is that its shit to use 1 or 3 ram sticks, always use 2 or 4.
Those kinds of tweaks always ended up bad in the long run for me. A while after you tweak your pc, you will have unexplainable errors, compatibility, and performance issues. I know it is not sounding sweet but there is two way to increase performance it is either OC or hardware upgrade. Software-wise all you have to do is keep updating your drivers and windows. That's all.
This should be top comment. The tweaks shown in this video can eventually lead to errors as Windows is constantly being changed. You could be fine with a reg edit for now but in the future there could be a Windows, driver or any kind of software update that for some reason depended on that registry and that could lead to errors. And it may even completely depend on the individual specs of your system.
Legit same, downloaded a auto ram cleaning app he made a video on. Legit my pc was unplayable every game would freeze for 30-40 seconds even on the lowest settings. And I have a 2080 super and a i9 9900k. Just makes no sense to me
@@MiledHorizon Exactly. That's the main reason why you don't want to do the tweaks. I remember not being able to use windows search, USB devices, and windows updates due to the tweaks. The worst is you cannot undo them without reinstalling your windows. By the way, Y'all can trust windows 10. It is a very well-optimized and stable OS.

Hey Panjno, brilliant video. What does happen if I decrease my polling rate (ms) in ISLC? What is the difference between 10000ms and 500ms? How does you affect you latency? Thanks for the videos👍
that is how fast your system checks the standby list in order to clean it. so if you set polling rate to 500ms it will check the standby list every 0.5 seconds, whereas if you have it set to 1000ms it will check the standby list every 1 second

Hi Panjno, quick question, I have a 5900x and I went into my msconfig file to change the cores from 1 to 12 as instructed. Everything's running fine, but when I check my CPU in task manager it shows I'm only running 6 cores. This is due to Ryzen Master being set to, "Game Mode' by default which halves my cores. Should I leave the BOOT advanced option on 12 or change it to 6? Thank you. Again, everything's running fine and I just ran BF4 for over two hours.
I barely respond on UA-cam, but you should stay out of those files if you have no clue what you're doing. The msconfig is purely for the boot sequence, 1 core booting is normal for stability. Do yourself a favor and read into it or just stay out of those files, because you have no clue what you did wrong when (and not if) your pc becomes unstable.
Disabling HPT worked the best of all things I've tried for countless attempts in improving latency 😭😭😭 legit from 100+ms to 20-30ms only 😭😭😭💗 I never thought my laptop is capable fo this 😭💗💗

Woah, fixed my stutters by alot, I think removing the odd ram stick played a large part in that
Some of the registry optimizations did less than nothing, my framerate was halved in high CPU usage games
Because this video is basically a shit show of bad advice. Please gather your own information from tech forums instead of YT were every 13 year old will give you his "advice"
does that method can increase the temperature of my laptop?
@@spacejamgaming your laptop temperature should be unaffected until your CPU goes under high loads and will purposely not work as well to prevent overheating, I would recommend a PC with fan control
@@EnderBoy9217 thank you
Bro whatever you just did just fixed the delayed laggy load time i had on my pc thank you!!!!
Which one fixed yo delay and lagging ?
Hi, thanks for great tutorial for some weird reason wanted timer resolution I can't delete the other 2 zeroz to get 0.50 it keeps reverting 0.5000 what am I missing .... 4:38 of your video?
is there a point for anyone else to make videos of this. you my mate are trully the best when combining knowledge, speed and structure of walkthroughs is the best choice average logic to learn after watching just few times. you know your stuff. ty
Another good guide from the optimizer master. I was wondering if you could make a video on optimizing APU's for gaming and maybe content creation? Maybe use the 3000 and 5000 series APU's
either way great video
>optimizer master
All of his "optimizations" are placebo stuff that has been around for a decade, in some cases can make things worse.
@@griffin1366 and in many cases make things alot better. and even if it has been here for decades, everyone doesn't know about it.
@@SnackZatPC I looked over the video again as this comment is old.
All placebo, with 2 of them making your system worse.
But hey, enjoy your input lag.
@@griffin1366 Please mention the videos where he spreads false information i'm genuinely interested
@@blackespectral Hi. This comment is old but most if not all.
THANK YOU doing all these changes helped my pc tremendously.
well that ended rather suddenly
Thanks so much, added so much performance to my laptop
panjno please open subtitle additions for people to contribute :
I send everyone I know looking for more performance to this channel! Always 🔥🔥
Great guide as always, mine registry however doesn't have a multimedia folder so idk what to do about it.
You can create your own one, following the folders path and creating manually the new keys inside it.
Make one.
good video man helped me a little in warzone :D you have good stuff all the time keep up
yo why can't i delete the extra 00 in the custom timer it doesn't allow hm
Thank u so much, before following these steps I was playing warzone at 8 fps but after following these steps I am playing at a smooth 30fps so thank you so much
Wtf dude
@@corzmtb6464 What do u mean by "WTF dude"
how tf are u playing warzone at 8 fps 💀@@JRG1422
This channel is fantastic👏 Your content really helps, as I’m having issues with lag/stutter, although my rig is a 3080/amd 9 3900xt🤷🏼♂️ Subscribed👍
I have the 9 3900 too. Keep debating if I should jump to 5950…. U happy with 3900?
@@inflatablepeas6649 i switched to intel
If you're lagging / stuttering with that system then something else is wrong... Placebo "optimizations" will not help your cause.
1 year later and its still helpfull i just got fps boost thanks
There's no way turning this high precision event timer is so good that you put it in your videos multiple times
I'm going to try some of your guides for my pc, gpu and cpu settings in windows and oc, maybe
Thank you man regedit part really helped me my gane had bad CPU optimization but after that it made game super smooth
Dont change anything in the registry 💀
Nice since i showed up on this channel i literally have issues on my pc great work
I did the things in the video and it made my computer slower lol
Thanks
4:39 it doesn´t work, i cant delete all zeros..
same
i dont know how you only have 300k subs.. deserve more. another amazing video
@@kryptoxfps yeah but I feel the difference between 10000 and 250, with 250 feeling faster/snappier
@@Sp3cTrxL placebo
@@Sp3cTrxL mostly placebo best not to mess with the timers in windows and just leave it default the only timer is to consider is HPET but that is pushing it.
@@smarfbag8714 yeah but a timer resolution of 0.5 reduces input delay does it not?
Just wanted to say much appreciated, this helped a lot!!
(Hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling) decreased my pc performance i have tested in time spy it may work for others but should test it before turn it on.
Its great in modern games that near max VRAM usage, so in most cases i would recommend it on - like all optimizations, test them on the games YOU play
this help me out so so much. I play riders republic and i laggd so much in de begining and after i lookt att you video and did your tips OMG nothing laggs anymore
5:47 good that you DONT explain what it does and why you do that. and also not why 1.... THIS is the best example why this kind of videos are 👎
Also the whole ISLC program... no explaining nothing.^^ peopel dont know what they change and in the end when its broken they waste more hours to fix that again...
i would suggest people not using this "guide" before you dont know what it does....
Definitely learned some things on the software side of things. Thank you!
I'd turn off that mode in Ryzen Master tbh, Ryzen 5000 is great without it. - Then just leave the boot option to auto (or unselected)
@@Panjno would u still turn game mode off on a Ryzen 9 3900?
@@Panjno done and done. Thank you for the reply!
Disabling HPT worked the best of all things I've tried for countless attempts in improving latency 😭😭😭 legit from 100+ms to 20-30ms only 😭😭😭💗 I never thought my laptop is capable fo this 😭💗💗
Wtf is even this
Did all the changes and it totally hung up my PC when running Escape From Tarkov. Reverted and everything is working fine again
same how to you reset your registry editor?
UA-cam's best Tech. Love the vids!
These settings has helped my gaming performance big time! Thank you 🥰🥰
