Andrea marcovicci was the best thing and she's the best now. Her artistry and her musicianship are incredible. Thank you Andrea for singing one of my songs.
When my phone takes dictation it doesn't always get the words correct. What I meant to say was Andrea was the best then and is the best now. Again thank you Andrea for singing my song.
First saw her in a 1975 British thriller with Diana Dors. when i was just 7 years old...obviously i didnt appreciate her beauty then but i sure do now.
@Stuart Maxwell I sent her an email on her website a few years ago which surprisingly i was able to do. I don't think she's ever considered herself 'a star' as such, hence just a normal website where you can get in touch with her, though i think it was a bookings page to be honest, for booking her for private functions etc...Anyway,a few months later i got a reply from her.I basically said that i remember her in the film we're talking about and she said yes she remembered making it.I also told her she was beautiful lol Well she is! But yeh,the fact she bothered to reply was lovely, and i told her so.
WOW.......only knew her from the Woody Allen movie (directed by Martin Ritt), "The Front" (1976), a REALLY interesting film about the 1950's blacklist scandal. Ms. Marcovicci was good in that, but even BETTER here, with that GREAT voice of hers !!!
@@gw437 . I fell head-over-heels in love seeing her for the first time in that movie.....it was only later that I discovered she was also a singer! What a GORGEOUS, TALENTED woman !! .
Oh gosh I wish I knew something about singing and music and voice so I could try to say what's so special about her, but holy moly. I will try (don't mock me): Her phrasing is amazing, yes? She is unaffected and yet truly tells a story, truly gets in side a song in quite an easy way, not easy as in glib, but just with a certain easy and lack of pretension. How'd I do?
