When it comes to changing a power cable, I've got two words, Henry hoover, they made it so ridiculously easy to replace it, anything else just seems like we got stiffed by some lazy fcuk that didn't see the bigger picture of selling spare cables.

Great tip leaving earth longer for safety 👍🏻

Ive actually went with your advice on good power cable. Bought the Vileda Steam mop and the power cable was more stiff than people resting in the cemetary. Bought the H07RNF 3x1mm (overkill) manufacturer of the steam mop doesnt specify the Amps, but its easy to count when you know the Watts and Voltage. Vileda of course doesnt want you to mess with their stuff, so you require to unscrew two PH screws and 8 triangle safety ones to remove the cover (interesting design). Rest was a breeze to replace and the cable is superb flexiable. Cheers.

Nice job Dean. Can't figure out how so much damage to the cord happened.

  • @leonardpaciora5039

    Thanks again Dean!!!!!!!!!

Nilfisk Attix are amazing vacuums. They take abuse like nothing else, great suction and very low noise.

    Great job Mr dean 👍

Replacing the power cables on those newer Nilfisks is a real PITA. That includes vacuums rebranded for Makita, Karcher, Flex (from Germany) and many others.

Save time by having a plug with 3 Wago lever connectors on the lead, let's you do "quick and dirty" run test without wiring on the plug and taking it off again.

Dont they make all vacs for Hilti?

  • @jordanatkins2520

What’s the make of the pliers used to crimp the bootlace ferrules? Been looking for a month and can’t find any the same as them, they look proper handy.

I bought a nilfisk hoover from a tool show years ago when they were a new brand on the scene. I went to use it the next day at work and it made a 300 decibel scream that was unbearable. broken out of the box. I never gave them a second chance haha.

  • @alouisschafer7212

Question: How hard is it to replace the powercable on a Hilti Vac?

  • @Justicesdad

Do you call a vacuum a Hoover?

  • @alasdairhamilton1574

How the hell can someone cause so much damage to a power cord on a vacuum cleaner 🤬 bunch of 🤡🤡🤡.

  • @GunfighterWyo

Looks like he kept running over the lead with an lawnmower! Sorry I thought you were Scottish, you are Irish! Wee bit off!
