Isabelle is the reason I subscribe to Landr's channel. Useful info and Isabelle makes it all fun not dry, next time someone ask me a production question I'll share these videos with them.
You are an absolute blessing! I’m only a hobbyist and you have clearly, concisely and concretely boiled this material down into only the relevant content that other mixing channels make multiple 30 minute videos about while somehow completely failing to answer any question in any useful way. 😂. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. The EQ before the reverb tip on the aux channel transformed my entire vocal arrangement in seconds. This tip should be in every UA-cam tutorial on getting clarity in a mix. 👍👍👍🤟🖖
Well, after a week of trying out all the tips! What a fantastic difference it has made to my vocals and other experimental sounds? Thank you so so much, you really are a star ⭐️ Much love Gary x
Nice video from a Fun lady :) Tip 11 - Use "gating" to chop off tails that might otherwise muddy the overall mix (song/style dependant of course). Tip 12 - Use mono reverb to achieve that old-school melancholy feel.
Thank you for that great video. At the beginning you recommend busses for the same room for all vocals but at the end you pan left right different reverbs(rooms). Pleeeease explain❤
Hey ! Nice video, thanks for the help ! By the way, I might have missed it if it's said in the video, but who's the track's artist you're using for the examples ?
Hey Isobel! You really are the bestest of the best. Love it when you present the Landr article’s. This one on reverbs is fantastic, so much info and brilliant tips as well. I really wish you could just slow down a little though sweetie? It’s such a lot to try to remember and I will have to rerun the video to get to grips with each tip! But hey! It means I get to see you presenting it time and time again! So funny, so professional and knowledgeable, thank you and much love to you ❤ Gary xx
THIS IS REALSAUCE EVERYONE: even if you knew it let this be a reminder like it did for me. hope the video was refreshing and helps everyone God bless Jesus loves you all
Great video, thanks! I have one question: If I want the same sidechained verb on multiple vocal channels, how do I do that? Since the compressor has to duck for one specific channel I mean
Excellent pointers. I do most of these for my Livestream effects via Studio One 6 Artist. Currently using Melda's MDelayMB and MReverbMB multiband. I'll have to move the EQ to before delay and reverb to see how that changes it. Send not insert ✔️ EQ reverb with Abbey Road high and low pass ✔️ Sidechain compression to duck and give tails ✔️
My how things change. I've gotten the full Soundtoys bundle, the SSL/Slate Complete subscription, many other good quality but price slashed sale plug-ins, an have the Studio One 7 Pro perpetual license. I've added a few D16 Group plug-ins, Sigmund 2, Toraverb, Redoptor 2, and now Devastor 2. Better plug-ins like these have minimized my latency for the live content I work with frequently.
Great video but I am confused about one thing - isn't Tip 09 (Use Pre-Delay) not needed if I am already doing Tip 03 (Sidechain Compression)? To explain, if I use sidechain compression to duck the reverb (so that the vocal has better clarity with the reverb), doesn't that mean that the pre-delay setting doesn't matter because the pre-delay is occurring while the reverb signal is being ducked (not heard)?
For the delay throw, if the vox track is being sent to a bus then any delay/reverb directly put on the vox well also be sent to the bus as well. What would the routing look like for a vox track that has a delay throw on it but you still want all the vocal chain processing coming from the bus beforehand?
Hey there are you putting the EQ on the reverb itself or The voice before it goes to the reverb? The next where is the compressor is it on the effects send channel?
Myself, I add EQ, reverb, then sidechain ducking compression all in the reverb effect bus. The compressor sidechain uses the dry vocal channel as the trigger.
am i putting the sidechain compression on the vocal track or the reverb send track? also same thing with the EQ am I Eqing the vocal track its self. or equing the reverb track? sorry im just stupid and need clarifying.

Great tips, really well explained. I'm gonna have to watch more of your videos... Thanks for this!
I lost it when she threw the pencil at the guy on the floor 😆
Great video!
Hi!
You interested the compressor on the same bus as the reverb you set earlier?
Vocal -> Bus (reverb + compressor)
Nice video from a Fun lady :)
Tip 11 - Use "gating" to chop off tails that might otherwise muddy the overall mix (song/style dependant of course).
Tip 12 - Use mono reverb to achieve that old-school melancholy feel.
Excellent! Thank you. Tip 9 - Where do we put the Pre-Delay?
Same question, if the song is 83 BPM...what should the pre-delay be? That tip doesn't seem to be fully explained
This is awesome! Thank you!
Isabelle is amazing … and this vid is just one of the reasons why. It’s clear with great examples. Thank you.

Love you vibe so much … learning is easy with you
Thank you for that great video. At the beginning you recommend busses for the same room for all vocals but at the end you pan left right different reverbs(rooms). Pleeeease explain❤
One question: Should I make different bus for instruments vocals and drums or should I use one one mixer track/ bus for all the elements?
Thank you for the educational and fun video, sending love!
Wow so much knowledge! 😍
Exellent video! Very helpful. Great job!
Thanks very helpful, and prompted me to figure out how to use busses 😅 pretty new
This is a really great vid, thanks so much!!!

UAAAAU AMAZING!
Thank you so much
Great video.
great video
Put the eq after the reverb, adjust it so it sounds good ... then put that eq with the settings you found in front of the reverb, voila.
Thank you! 😺🤘🏻
👍 Good tips. Thanks 😊
Still trying to figure out how to sidechain /compress reverbs and delays
TE AMO❤
i like this girl lol awesome video

Very Useful video 💗
Glad you think so!

You're the best in this realm :]
Cheers, Sound Lord!
Thanks. Can you make about Vocal Delay Tricks for Pro Sounding Mixes.
Sure thing!
@@LANDRmusic Waiting for you!
Or sometimes the best use of reverb is when it actually isn't audible and brought subtlety in with the fader
Great
when i eq like you do mine sounds flavorless and muffled. Maybe i dont understand it right
Thank u, but u send all those channels on a same reverb, than side chain just one channel on that? What if a have two lead vocal channels?
Essentially, u would side chain the reverb send channel instead of individual channels. I.E the dry wet knob on the reverb itself.
am i putting the sidechain compression on the vocal track or the reverb send track? also same thing with the EQ am I Eqing the vocal track its self. or equing the reverb track? sorry im just stupid and need clarifying.
NICE
Awesome
nice going ..it would have been better if u had a Reverb control between the dry and wet process
Landr is just amazing, Subscribe and like!❤
Hey thanks Jay!!
