Brother! I have experiencing that! I started to surrender and my brain and emotions were getting into place, but then a thought would creep in suggesting I had to fear and that it was wrong for me not to fear. I realize it is a temptation for not trusting in the Lord. I have been rejecting these evil thoughts and continuing surrendering to God. Brother Aaron you are spot on about that observation. God may continue to enlighten the ministry He has entrusted you. Like me, many are being blessed by it.
When I feel peace I immediately thank God for that peace. A time without suffering? I’ll take it! Thank you Jesus for that small peace I get! It is hard to suffer and it’s nice to feel peace! It's hard for some of us to actually let go of our demons. It's like being in an abusive relationship for years. It becomes all you know so in a twisted way you become comfortable in it.
It’s common to be against change even in abusive relationships; however, you can surely break away by surrendering all your fears to God, and then fully trusting His word. This requires you to exercise your God given faith. God bless you Tony.

It was really so simple and I thank the Lord for taking the burden of trying to control every situation, and even my own mind. Appreciate, as usual, Aaron... I was in Desert depression, disillusion & slavery to discouraging habits ten years... Even after 4 counselors (and how much money spent?!!), no lasting solutions even though I learned much. Just over two years ago, I came to place of telling God exactly what was both my condition and how I felt, even about Him - Nothing of pride here, only shame. In that prayer, I surrendered by giving up on myself IN ANY WAY to help myself or God (if He decided He wanted to do anything in and with my life) I told Jesus that I was giving Him my body, soul and spirit - my mind will & emotions. I quite literally gave myself away to Someone else, for some reason knowing I had been given that much authority over me! The results were shocking. (No space to explain) I exist in near perfect peace now and often say the Lord, "Don't forget, I belong to You!!" and "I can't help You with me... I'm trusting & resting in what You said You would do in the promises of Scriptures..." For me, this is rather easy, to believe I mean, since I ran out of all other options... It's Him or Nothing. There is no middle position for me. He showed my heart and spirit what "poverty of spirit" meant and that this was indeed my condition. Once I stopped all expectations of myself or other people, looking to Jesus became a rushing to Him and grasping Him in a way and at a level I had no idea even existed. Aaron & I have spoken and shared. Both of our experiences confirms the radical truths of Scripture, "apart from Me, you can do nothing" and since that universe changing prayer I mentioned, the word "partaker" has become my WATCHWORD of truth and REALITY. It is found in 2 Peter 1: 3&4. May Abba open the eyes of our hearts to grasp who we really are in the light of Who He Really Is and wants to be IN EACH ONE OF US!!! My prayer concludes for us all, from Ephesians 2:10, "Father, fulfill all the good works in each of us which you planned before the foundations when You created us in Christ Jesus for good works!" The works are His. The good is His. The Life is His to us in Christ, not to make us copies, but to share His Life in and through us on Earth. Dear Yesenia, if I may put some Scripture that perhaps will help someone or perhaps you. It helped me understand what mindset I need to adapt in order to claim any promise from The Lord, in order to have peace and joy, regardless of the life circumstances. This verse keeps helping me "overcome" daily and train myself in godliness and righteousness as apostles command. This verse must be the core of our belief, as I understand it: "Why do you call me Lord and do not do what I say" God bless everyone and you Aaron❤️. In Christian love and building each other up.

While surrendered, the most helpful verses to me were 2 Cor 12:9, Romans 8:28, and Galatians 2:20; however, the Lord could use different verses to aid you. When it's difficult and your faith feels weak, choose to believe in His promises. No matter how you feel, claim His promises made for you and stand on them. Stay focused on Jesus alone. Please pray for me brother 😔 . Im having such a hard time with this. I've been in this valley for more than two years. Im not where i used to be. God has been delivering me little by little, but this is so tiring. There are days when i feel so strong in my faith. I'm able to hear Him clearly. But then there are other days when nothing makes sense. I feel like I'm walking by myself. This long war is making me feel so exhausted. Sometimes I wonder if there will ever be freedom of this oppression... will the Lord heal me completely? Prayed for you. I'm assuming you are a Christian as I write you. You don't need to know whether you will be healed, and if so, when. You only need to take it by faith that God uses all things for your good. If the thorn stays, it only stays if it is in your best interest. If the thorn is removed, it leaves if it is in your best interest. Therefore, you win either way because of God. Thank Him and live by faith.
I've been suffering from anxiety and panic disorder for 5 months now, and have become very depressed. My brain overreacts to everything. I just want my normal life back. I keep praying and praying. I feel so hopeless sometimes.

@@aaronkim1074 thank you. The last couple of days were stressful. I briefly told you about my dad. Now my sister is turning her back on us. It's just me and my mum now. Everything in my life is falling apart (anxiety issues, unemployed, broken family) and I have come to the end of myself, like you say, and there's literally nothing, no one else that can help me but God. I decided to forget about my situation, like no more worrying about money, the future, etc and completely devote 100% of my attention to reading the Word, the Bible. To most people, that would seem crazy and risky, but honestly, i've had enough. I just hope i'm taking the right path.
Let me confirm for you: Yes, you are on the right path. You are completely at God’s mercy and you are relying on Him! This is a blessed position to be in. Stay surrendered to and trusting in God, while resisting the devil. Make your requests known to God in faith, then simply wait on Him. If you do, He surely will act on your behalf! Don’t give up, and keep trusting in the Lord. A powerful testimony could be in the works right now. God bless you.

I woke up my mom and told her how I couldn't sleep, and all the other nonsense the devil put me through. Then after I told her, she literally just went, "Oh shoot I gotta make you guys some sandwiches for later." My reactions were just: o_O, XD, -_-. I mean I did wake her up so it's understandable if she wasn't exactly paying attention XD. Well I hope this story got someone laughing. :)
Hi Aaron! I have surrendered everything to the Lord Jesus Christ and I trust him with all my heart. My faith has grown tremendously over the past few years. I’m grateful for my anxiety/panic that happened years ago because that’s what lead me to this point in my faith. Although I trust in God and surrender my life to him, sometimes I find myself having a panic attack in certain situations. It’s like a fear of fear. I always try to recite scripture in the midst of the attack but it I can’t find the relief. I guess what I’m asking is, if I’m trusting and living a surrendered life yet still having panic attacks (a lot less than before) why am I not set free from the spirit of fear? What do I need to do spiritually to stop these attacks? Any advice would be helpful! Thank you!!
This is a really good question. To go along with your question- I’m wondering if a specific time of deliverance needs to happen in order to be sure that your are completely set free or can it be a gradual healing.. that could have trances of anxiety or panic return time to time.
Hi Vanessa, that is a great question and I'm sorry to hear of your struggles. I believe you are still struggling with fear and panic attacks because there is still an area (or areas) in your life that is not yet completely surrendered and fully trusting in God with it. If you are not aware of what needs to be surrendered and trusted over to God, I encourage you to simply ask the Lord to show you where your hang up is. Ask in faith, and then wait. You cannot go wrong if you leave it in God's hands like this. Also, while you wait on the Lord, choose to believe His promises no matter how you feel. If another panic attack comes, know that His grace is sufficient for you before, during, and after the attack, and that He is using that very panic attack for your good. He doesn't enjoy watching you suffer, but He allows it for your good and His glory. On top of all this, resist the devil. Work on ignoring the thoughts that cause anxiety and fear, and focus your gaze on Jesus and His promises. It is a lot I know, but by God's grace you can prevail and overcome through the power of God. Don't give up! The Lord Jesus us faithful! God bless you.

Aaron, I would love to hear your thoughts about guilt. I feel guilty so often and I try to discern if it is the enemy or not. The guilt is about areas of my life I have not fully surrendered, such as emotional eating. So I tend to think the guilt is appropriate. Yet I feel weighed down and sad so maybe it's not from God.
Hi Nancy, apart from godly sorrow that leads to repentance, God does not want us to live with guilt; we are forgiven and set free. 1 John 1:9 says that when we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive. That is the word of God, so that settles any question on forgiveness for the believer. No matter how many times you may fail, when you confess your sins to God He is always faithful to forgive. You should not feel guilty for a sin you are forgiven of. God chooses to forget your sin once you are forgiven. Now, God does not want you to continue to be in bondage to any sin, so if you go to Him humbly and ask in faith for Him to overcome for you; He will. When I say humbly, you must admit you cannot overcome, but acknowledge that He can through you. And then, you ask in faith knowing He will certainly overcome for you. God bless you.

I'm learning a lot about the grace of Jesus through your videos. I have been in the fire of mental affliction off and on for years. Some of that has been probably due to sin and unbelief. Also I am an evangelist, so I'm seeing that is a possible additional reason for attacks. Since your videos I feel like my brain is being renewed as I take him at his Word!! It's such a relief to surrender! I wish I'd known this years ago. I guess I wasnt ready back then. Anyway thanks for your ministry to so many of us brothers and sisters. Ayye Aaron back at it again with another comment B). I haven't been sleeping good lately and when I do I get nightmares. I try to remain faithful during the day, but I'm too caught up in waiting for night to come instead of praying before hand which is what I'm trying to do :) Also what do you recommend if thoughts of doubt linger cause I struggle a lot with doubt and unbelief.
Hello friend, what you are going through is spiritual warfare; and the battle is in the mind. You must learn to take your thoughts captive. Live in the moment by trusting in Jesus, and leave the future in Jesus’ hands. I encourage you to watch a video I made on taking every thought captive.

I’m confused if it is Gods will for these feelings to be in my life or if He wants them gone NOW. James 4:7 days submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. So if the feelings are not fleeing maybe it’s his will for me to be in them and refine me?
Hi Leo, your questions are good. You are correct that we should be surrendered to God, but only God. We are not to surrender anything to the devil, but only to resist him. The Lord sometimes allows the devil to afflict us as in the book of Job, but the Lord only gives the devil enough rope to hang himself (from Tim Keller). Meaning, the Lord is working it all for our good, and to the devil's harm. Regarding the feelings, if these are feelings of anxiety and fear, the Lord does not want us to stay in them one second longer. However, if we do fall into fear and anxiety at times, He will use them for our good. As we overcome, that is often a part of how we are refined in the fire. So, we are to resist the lies that cause the bad feelings, and never give into them. As you resist the lies and instead focus on God's truths and promises, your feelings/emotions will heal. May the Lord guide and bless you.
What do you mean by letgo? Is it allowing anxiety and depresion? What if it get worst? And you said in another video we have to fight those intrusive thought of anxiety and depresion with the word of God? Now you said to surrender and let go do nothing about it. In confused sorry. Please help.
When I say do nothing, I mean do nothing of yourself. Don't try and fix it yourself, but look to God to deliver you. I don't consider surrendering and trusting in God work on your part, but you are expecting God to work on your behalf. Fighting or resisting the devil is surrendering and trusting in the Lord. It is dwelling and believing in God's word. If anxiety or depression get worse, it is of no concern to you because you are surrendered before the Lord to His perfect will and trusting in Him, knowing He is working all things for your good and that His grace will sustain you. In addition, you died with Christ, and now it is Christ who lives in you. So no matter what happens to you, it is Jesus' life, so you don't need to worry about anything. To live is Christ and to die is gain.

I started reading the bible properly (before I was just noting down various scriptures) and for some reason I have reached a point where I feel like I have nothing to lose if I just rely on the Word of God and forget everything else. What do you think?
@@userzerono I dont mind, anyone can wish to share their opinion besides Aaron! I started reading the New Testament first because I find it easier to absorb. Currently, Im reading the Book of Acts. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Cyprus was mentioned because that is where I live!
I think that is wonderful! To be able to turn away from the world, and fully rely on God and His Word is a blessed work of the Holy Spirit. And there is no amount of money in this world that can measure up to this blessing. Keep it up my friend. The Lord is working.
@@aaronkim1074 thank you. The last couple of days were stressful. I briefly told you about my dad. Now my sister is turning her back on us. It's just me and my mum now. Everything in my life is falling apart (anxiety issues, unemployed, broken family) and I have come to the end of myself, like you say, and there's literally nothing, no one else that can help me but God. I decided to forget about my situation, like no more worrying about money, the future, etc and completely devote 100% of my attention to reading the Word, the Bible. To most people, that would seem crazy and risky, but honestly, i've had enough. I just hope i'm taking the right path.
Let me confirm for you: Yes, you are on the right path. You are completely at God’s mercy and you are relying on Him! This is a blessed position to be in. Stay surrendered to and trusting in God, while resisting the devil. Make your requests known to God in faith, then simply wait on Him. If you do, He surely will act on your behalf! Don’t give up, and keep trusting in the Lord. A powerful testimony could be in the works right now. God bless you.

Also I'm directing this comment to everyone maybe to get your spirits up a bit :D So this is a story of when I was dealing with panic. I woke up my mom and told her how I couldn't sleep, and all the other nonsense the devil put me through. Then after I told her, she literally just went, "Oh shoot I gotta make you guys some sandwiches for later." My reactions were just: o_O, XD, -_-. I mean I did wake her up so it's understandable if she wasn't exactly paying attention XD. Well I hope this story got someone laughing. :)

I have surrendered everything to the Lord Jesus Christ and I trust him with all my heart. My faith has grown tremendously over the past few years. I’m grateful for my anxiety/panic that happened years ago because that’s what lead me to this point in my faith. Although I trust in God and surrender my life to him, sometimes I find myself having a panic attack in certain situations. It’s like a fear of fear. I always try to recite scripture in the midst of the attack but it I can’t find the relief. I guess what I’m asking is, if I’m trusting and living a surrendered life yet still having panic attacks (a lot less than before) why am I not set free from the spirit of fear? What do I need to do spiritually to stop these attacks? Any advice would be helpful! Thank you!!
This is a really good question. To go along with your question- I’m wondering if a specific time of deliverance needs to happen in order to be sure that your are completely set free or can it be a gradual healing.. that could have trances of anxiety or panic return time to time.
Hi Vanessa, that is a great question and I'm sorry to hear of your struggles. I believe you are still struggling with fear and panic attacks because there is still an area (or areas) in your life that is not yet completely surrendered and fully trusting in God with it. If you are not aware of what needs to be surrendered and trusted over to God, I encourage you to simply ask the Lord to show you where your hang up is. Ask in faith, and then wait. You cannot go wrong if you leave it in God's hands like this.
Also, while you wait on the Lord, choose to believe His promises no matter how you feel. If another panic attack comes, know that His grace is sufficient for you before, during, and after the attack, and that He is using that very panic attack for your good. He doesn't enjoy watching you suffer, but He allows it for your good and His glory. On top of all this, resist the devil. Work on ignoring the thoughts that cause anxiety and fear, and focus your gaze on Jesus and His promises. It is a lot I know, but by God's grace you can prevail and overcome through the power of God.

The Word of God says sometimes you have to pray and fast. Some things will not go with prayer alone. Kevin L A Ewing has some great teachings concerning breakthroughs that are all biblically sound.

Aaron, I would love to hear your thoughts about guilt. I feel guilty so often and I try to discern if it is the enemy or not. The guilt is about areas of my life I have not fully surrendered, such as emotional eating. So I tend to think the guilt is appropriate. Yet I feel weighed down and sad so maybe it's not from God.
Hi Nancy, apart from godly sorrow that leads to repentance, God does not want us to live with guilt; we are forgiven and set free. 1 John 1:9 says that when we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive. That is the word of God, so that settles any question on forgiveness for the believer. No matter how many times you may fail, when you confess your sins to God He is always faithful to forgive. You should not feel guilty for a sin you are forgiven of. God chooses to forget your sin once you are forgiven.
Now, God does not want you to continue to be in bondage to any sin, so if you go to Him humbly and ask in faith for Him to overcome for you; He will. When I say humbly, you must admit you cannot overcome, but acknowledge that He can through you. And then, you ask in faith knowing He will certainly overcome for you. God bless you.

I'm learning a lot about the grace of Jesus through your videos. I have been in the fire of mental affliction off and on for years. Some of that has been probably due to sin and unbelief. Also I am an evangelist, so I'm seeing that is a possible additional reason for attacks. Since your videos I feel like my brain is being renewed as I take him at his Word!! It's such a relief to surrender! I wish I'd known this years ago. I guess I wasnt ready back then. Anyway thanks for your ministry to so many of us brothers and sisters. I've been sharing your videos a ton.

Ayye Aaron back at it again with another comment B). I haven't been sleeping good lately and when I do I get nightmares. I try to remain faithful during the day, but I'm too caught up in waiting for night to come instead of praying before hand which is what I'm trying to do :) Also what do you recommend if thoughts of doubt linger cause I struggle a lot with doubt and unbelief.
Hello friend, what you are going through is spiritual warfare; and the battle is in the mind. You must learn to take your thoughts captive. Live in the moment by trusting in Jesus, and leave the future in Jesus’ hands. I encourage you to watch a video I made on taking every thought captive.

So we stay surrendered but also resist the feelings right? Resist to let the devil bring us deeper and deeper?
I’m confused if it is Gods will for these feelings to be in my life or if He wants them gone NOW. James 4:7 days submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. So if the feelings are not fleeing maybe it’s his will for me to be in them and refine me?
Hi Leo, your questions are good. You are correct that we should be surrendered to God, but only God. We are not to surrender anything to the devil, but only to resist him. The Lord sometimes allows the devil to afflict us as in the book of Job, but the Lord only gives the devil enough rope to hang himself (from Tim Keller). Meaning, the Lord is working it all for our good, and to the devil's harm.
Regarding the feelings, if these are feelings of anxiety and fear, the Lord does not want us to stay in them one second longer. However, if we do fall into fear and anxiety at times, He will use them for our good. As we overcome, that is often a part of how we are refined in the fire. So, we are to resist the lies that cause the bad feelings, and never give into them. As you resist the lies and instead focus on God's truths and promises, your feelings/emotions will heal.

What do you mean by letgo? Is it allowing anxiety and depresion? What if it get worst? And you said in another video we have to fight those intrusive thought of anxiety and depresion with the word of God? Now you said to surrender and let go do nothing about it. In confused sorry. Please help.
When I say do nothing, I mean do nothing of yourself. Don't try and fix it yourself, but look to God to deliver you. I don't consider surrendering and trusting in God work on your part, but you are expecting God to work on your behalf. Fighting or resisting the devil is surrendering and trusting in the Lord. It is dwelling and believing in God's word. If anxiety or depression get worse, it is of no concern to you because you are surrendered before the Lord to His perfect will and trusting in Him, knowing He is working all things for your good and that His grace will sustain you. In addition, you died with Christ, and now it is Christ who lives in you. So no matter what happens to you, it is Jesus' life, so you don't need to worry about anything. To live is Christ and to die is gain.
