Here’s what you’re missing with Ram Reallocator: you combine it with Quantum Tuner. With everything fully upgraded, tuner passively subtracts ~11 seconds from Reallocator’s 75 sec. cooldown, and lvl 20 intelligence subtracts 60 seconds.
*This means that 30% of your RAM is restored every ~4 seconds.*
*Importantly, this ~4 second cooldown doesn’t slow while scanning -*
meaning you can drop into a room of 100 goons, immediately start scanning, then take your sweet time stacking cyberware malfunction and short circuit on everyone without ever running out of RAM or needing overclock. It’s honestly so, so broken but I love it

Also a huge note for #1 on this list. -8 RAM is for the standard, no "+" version. Upgrading once drops it to -6 RAM, upgrading again drops it to -4 RAM. This means that at Tier 5++ you only lose 4 RAM, which by the level you'll likely get this alongside with Overclock, this is utterly insignificant. The crits with synapse burnout iconic (which gets an absolutely colossal potential boost from spent RAM when in OC, I think the max is 600% damage increase), plus all your quickhack damage boosts, PLUS crit damage every single time with all of your crit boosts.... holy crap does it utterly destroy. I can overclock, sonic shock and synapse burnout about 4-5 enemies simultaneously, which is usually enough to clear a group, and EACH of them will take 40,000-45,000 damage roughly. I have decided to not use synapse burnout at all on bosses, on whom I only use overheat, static shock, and cyberware malfunction to at least give them a chance lol.
It's not QUITE to the level of contagion while standing outside the building and everything literally instantly dies that was Cyberpunk 1.0 Netrunner, but it IS pretty wildly OP.

I'm gonna defend my quantum tuner. Not only does it come from the most satisfying ending to the expansion, but it also provided my netrunner build a much needed boost. For a stealthy approach, having 3 uses of overclock back-to-back sped up clearing any area of enemies without being noticed to an extreme amount. It works so well in fact, that I have encountered progression-stopping bugs I've had no idea of beforehand. For a more direct approach, and especially for boss fights, it was a difference between timing a few dodges while the enemy health bar disintegrates and having to run like a headless chicken, taking panicked shots and monowire swings waiting for that godsdamned mode to be available again so that the fight could be finished.

@@deathshop2172 The biggest and only problem I had with my sandevistan build was, again, bosses - not being able to extend the duration and lower the cooldown by dealing with weaker enemies (due to there not being any) made it so that sandy only gave me a small window to burst down the big guy. The window was almost never big enough, so the fights felt more tense and I never used as much cover in pre-2.0.. Granted, the build was a stealth/crit-revolver(if needed) one, so I've no clue how it would fare in melee.

Sidebar: One of the best ways to get around, I’ve found, is instead of jump jump dash, hit the dash then jump a split second after. If you do it right, you’ll trigger your double jump from the dash and fly off like a rocket. It even has momentum, so when you land, you can bunny hop into another rocket jump. Idk how this would be done on PC, but it’s easy on PS5 because I just slide my thumb from O to X (B to A on Xbox) in one motion. It’s possible to move faster than cars on the highway with this.

Worth mentioning about Axolotl is that it reduces the cooldown on Blood Pump as well. So there are Berserk sets that make this incredibly overpowered, especially on Biodyne Berserk. Reason for this is that you can have Axolotl + Blood Pump + Biomonitor to repeatedly trigger Reflex Tuner to slow down time (if you run it), Biodyne Berserk to give you massive crit chance (20% by itself + 20% for having Reflex at Level 20) and improved up-time due to Axolotl, Blood Pump Biomonitor combo repeatedly triggering Adrenaline Rush for extra buffs as well as buffs from healing if invested in that area. It makes you an invincible monster even on Very Hard.

The ram reallocator has a BEAUTIFUL synergy with the Axolotl when fighting enemies in mass. With an infinite ram loop, you can kill loads of enemies in only a few seconds. The cooldown reduction on quantum tuner is a huge part of the power. It's a key component of permanent cyberware builds (so you can have permanent cyberware even when 1v1). The strongest case I've found is immortal berserk. It is hilarious because you can completely ignore any kind of survivability and just go ultra glass cannon melee build.

    • @dirtyrabbit
      @dirtyrabbit 11 місяців тому +17

quantum tuner is the best piece of cyberware, he mistakenly says that once its used you have to wait for it to cooldown before its used again which isn't the case. it acts more like a bank, so if your cyberware has a 20 second cooldown and the quantum tuner is full (up to 60 seconds) it could refill your cyberware 3 times from one full charge. it can also be used at any level of charge as long as its bigger than your cyberware cooldown. This makes any Sandvistan/berserk build unstoppable

    • @CrniWuk
      @CrniWuk 10 місяців тому +2

@@dirtyrabbit Exactly. It can be a bit confusing from the describtion but it works exactly as how you describe it where it "refils" your cyberware cool downs till it runs out of its resource rather than being a one-time use in combat. It's actually pretty usefull.

Better yet: It's possible to equip both the COX-2 _and_ Axolotl.
While that does mean becoming relatively frail outside of Overclock, between Synapse Burnout and the effect of Axolotl (even now it's been nerfed to a max of just +7.5% instead of +12.5%) means that as long as there are enemies, you can remain in Overclock.
The revamped Adam Smasher became the only fight I found remotely difficult after that broken cyberware combo.

Immovable Force is particularly good with a handful of extremely heavy weapons. The one I got it for in my build is Hypercritical, this thing hits like a truck, works well at all ranges because it's got iron sights instead of a long scope, but is unwieldy and kicks too hard to actually get proper use out of its full firerate ordinarily. Tossing on Immovable Force stabilizes the hell out of it, practically removes sway as a factor, and lets you have what's effectively a mini-rocket launcher for your Cool build.

I hear mentioning that the Hypcritical does a lot of damage, but I felt underwhelmed when testing it agiant the cyberpshycho Cedric Muller. It did like only 5% of it's health. I struggle to kill him with that weapon even with Sandi activated. This while my katana build kills him within 3-5 seconds, long before my Sandi expires. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but the dps doesn't seem that great against enemies with a large health pools. If we are talking about rocket launchers the Ba Xing Chong did way more damage, removing like 45% of Cedrics health bar with each shot. I did enjoy using Immovable Force with the Guillotine x-MOD2 and Firecracker, making it very accurate and also providing some respectable damage output.

In easier terms press 'space' mid-dash as if you're trying to activate kerenzikov. You keep the momentum from the dash/dodge as you jump and drastically increases your speed compared to just jumping and air dashing. Heck, you'd cover even more distance by just sticking to dashing then single jumping, forgoing the air dash. Works well enough that you'd be satisfied, even with dodging then single jumping with no leg cyberware.

ARMOR: You only get 1 point of damage mitigation for every 10 points of armor. Thus, even armor stacking will not help your defense to any noticeable degree(e.g. 49 points of legendary subdermal cyberware armor is actually only a pathetic 5 points of damage reduction/mitigation, and the 200 points you get from the Iconic Chitin armor will only mitigate 20 points of damage per attack). Therefore, offense has much greater effect on combat gameplay than defense.
In any case, you absolutely CAN NOT get your armor stats high enough to noticeably mitigate damage that non-mob enemies do when enemies are at your level or higher. Stats-wise, 1400 armor may sound impressive, but against high-level enemies, ignoring skeleton and integumentary cyberware, and having high cyberware armor, will give you functionally identical results during actual gameplay. Therefore, while stacking armor stats from cyberware is not useless, it is weak, so it should not be your main focus when adding cyberware.
Maintaining Stealth or hiding is really the only practical way to avoid being 3-shot killed, unless… you use Sandevistan time-dilation to avoid being hit entirely, or you use Berserk to make yourself invulnerable. The most effective tactic is to kill enemies before they get a chance to strike back.
Conclusion: There is no realistic way to Tank in this game.
NOTE: Despite this, melee builds are still viable even without Sandevistan and Berserk. You can use melee attacks against most enemy mobs because Blades, Blunt and Unarmed attacks will stun-lock them and make them unable to hit you back. Just make certain the mini-boss can’t shoot at you while you are engaged in melee.

I feel like there is a bit of misunderstanding with how the Quantum Tuner actually works here. Rather than thinking of it as a single extra use of your cyberware ability of choice, think of it as a sort of "tank" that holds up to 60 seconds of cooldown. Whenever you use cyberware that has a cooldown, as soon as you deactivate it, it will draw from the tank however many seconds it needs to be full again. So yeah, with a piece of cyberware that has 60 seconds of cooldown, you're only getting one extra use out of it. But if your cyberware only has, say, 25 seconds of cooldown, then you have at least two extra uses. And with the proper perks that further reduce cooldown, as well as the Tuner's own passive effect, you can get those 25 second cooldowns as low as 17.5 seconds, meaning the Quantum Tuner can hold up to *three extra back to back uses* for some of the strongest cyberware in the game. And with the changes to Sandevistans, and the nerf to Axolotl, I feel like the Quantum Tuner is a pretty excellent addition to any build that has you activating your cyberware frequently. Even when the tank is empty, an additional 15% cooldown reduction is nothing to sneeze at.

You're absolutely right. I went through the hassle of making a new build to fully capitalize on it and I must say it was more practical than Axolotl based off the 15% less cooldown effect. Add on Optical Camo and you can even recharge it.
With that in mind I started to question his rank of Adreno-Trigger. You're essentially able to move faster through the whole fight and it stacks with other speed increases from Creeping Death and Finishers. Also you get more Mitigation the faster you move. In a balanced build it's definitely a game changer. It's like having a better Leeroy Ligament System that's strictly for combat.

The best netrunning loop to cast is Sonic Shock, Synapse Burnout and Double Request Backup in that order it is net positive on getting your ram back while in overclock mode, avoids detection because of sonic shock, nets you +5 seconds to overclock from Synapse Burnout and you use request backup because it nets you the most positive ram per cast when the enemy dies with them in the que still. Only certain bosses with health checkpoints can live a single crit Synapse Burnout even on Very Hard also because of this the best Cyberdeck for this setup is actually Arasaka because you dont need the extra damage from any of the other decks but the -2 cost for covert quickhacks adds to the ram efficiency letting you set up on more enemies at once.

you can actually get faster with the double jump + dash combo if you:
    jump
    air dash
    jump right after
it conserves the momentum of the airdash and gives you more height, essentially going farther faster, you can either use the second jump right after the airdash or wait some miliseconds before the airdash loses speed to then use the second jump, the latter feels like it gives more airtime, though that could be just how I perceive it.

doing your speed jumping wrong. its ctrl for initial dash followed immediately by a jump, then hit your double jump and then air dash. 2 dashes, 2 jumps for one cycle and you'll get a giant speed boost from the first dash+jump (seems to lock your velocity at initial dash speed while in air).
light tap on that first dash since you don't want to turn it into a slide.
edit: data recycler is bugged when it comes to where your killing quickhack is in the queue. it only works when the killing one is queued in at 1 and 2 in the stack. if it's on 3 (and naturally 4, given how the synergies work), then you do NOT get ram back. 3 is always the most optimal place for a damage hack (2 cyberware malfunctions followed by a synaptic burnout and a followup covert quickhack, usually memory wipe to stack the damage and maximize ram return) so it really sucks that it's bugged this way.

I dont think a lot of people have touched on this. But if your moving fast enough or just recently climbed on something. Sometimes if a bit of lag hits or you get to high and itll kill it, and you in the process, but you can use it to travel quickly on foot or to cross to buildings you normally couldn't reach.
I find if you can do this consistently enough, you can go faster then some cars. And having the perk that makes air dashes not use stamina, makes it so you can do it as much as you like. I always play on maximum difficulty, and when you build a tank character and or play on an easy difficulty but claim to like the game, you're actually cheating yourself out of more quality playthrough.
Being high damage but low health simultaneously forces you to play perfectly but also removes the annoyance of having to shoot something over and over and over before it finally dies.
When the game's fun, it's worth it to have to redo a fun mission several times instead of getting it right on the first or second try. It's sort of like a stop and smell the roses thing.
I promise, to really savor a game and appreciate it as well as develop the most muscle memory of it so that you can pay more attention to the minute details, you don't want to do some kind of health or tank build. The only challenge to that is running out of bullets sometimes because you're having to spend way more of them to kill bad guys who aren't really able to kill you

On leg mods, I also give serious consideration to the stealth ones for builds that do not run air dash, such as a netrunner build. The low cost, relatively high armor, and surprisingly impactful fall damage reduction make it a decent choice before considering the sneak benefits. Though most builds absolutely should be running air dash with double jump since it's so damn useful. Also, I found that bunny hopping when you land with a standard jump, air dash, and repeat covers more horizontal distance than spamming double jump like you do. Not to mention you can save your double jump to redirect to avoid hitting a car or to redirect, and that maintaining the rhythm of the bunnyhop timing makes it more engaging and fun.

One Important thing regarding COX-2 Cybersomatic optimizer.
I noticed that without it installed the Legendary Synapse Burnout deals 239 damage. With it it deals 1802 damage. The text on the quickhack changes. Epic tier then deals 2033, but without the Overclock synergy.
I found it few minutes ago, thanks to your video. I am using Arasaka Cyberdeck with COX-2, Ex-disk and T5++ RAM upgrade, with Blood Pump and Monitor. I just prefer boring sneaky way of netrunning but this is incredible.

Tip for jump air dashing: do a single jump, then air dash and immediately double jump. You get a ton of distance this way and it's super fun.

even with my sandevistan build, the revulsor has saved my ass on very hard "eldenpunk" mode quite a lot, to be honest.
and I'm stacking health regen over several magnitudes, have adrenaline boost, auto-injector, second heart for emergencies etc. etc. etc.
it is very much a level 60 nearly max cyberware build though. Had to grind for it. So definitely not an early game build.

Man, definitely feels like very hard is a brutal filter for most things, with you being seemingly unable to take really any hits from a few bullets, which I guess properly fits for the description, but also makes it feel a bit less than enticing when it so massively limits you on your seeming strategies (or I guess some of these cyberware just suck that bad)

nah its all about planning and taking survivability into account. But i will admit, for cyberware atleast, theres clearly objectively good shit and also objectively trash cyberware lmao

Very hard is incredibly unpleasant. Not only do enemies turn into sponges but the damage spikes are insane.

@@theobell2002Only if you don't know what you're doing. Close range builds with shotguns or katanas are pretty strong and the game has gotten much easier from lv40 to the endgame. I do love the early game challenge - it makes you strategize and think.

Very Hard doesn't really impede any build from working. All it does is tell you 'find a way to retain 100% mit chance'. That's it, that's all it takes to destroy the game. Reflexes and Tech are unbelievably powerful for this reason, and I feel like any VH build should take one of the two (or find a way to chain-pop dorphhead from body), because Can't Touch This and Heat Shield fundamentally allow you to play hyper aggressive with little fear of dying.

@@Armisael4321 naw dude. Very hard forces you to rely on your OS much more. I have all that and I know how to use advanced sword tech. You can still get shit during a dash on Very Hard. I've been shot many times while dashing. Even with time slowed. It's so bad I have a clip of me dying tho I had a half bar of health plus Adrenaline.

4:45 there's actually faster travel with no leg cyberware. It's an "exploit" where you essentially just doge and jump at the same time. What happens is your dodge is an aggressively fast movement but if airborne that speed is continuing the whole duration.
The dash boost will increase tge distance and speed with addition of adding a mid air boost... It's actually faster than cars and midair dash can prevent fall damage by resetting fall distance.

Question: Plenty of cyberware buffs are linked with "neutralizing" enemies....does the game refer"neutralize" as to non-lethal takedowns alone or can kills also be counted for it?

You’re not looking at the additional stamina returns for ppl that are 20 reflex. A fully upgraded “Isometric Stabilizer” gives 30% stamina. Idk 🤷🏽‍♂️ pretty worth it if you’re a high reflex build.

Overwatch silencer only works if you actually take out the opponent in one shot, similarly to throwing knives. You're not gonna stay hidden if the enemy who just got hit is still alive (and obviously looking where they got shot from)

On crit, did some testing and found that your "crit chance" has absolutely no impact on quickhacks whatsoever. It's either the 0%, 35%, or 100% on the piece giving you quickhack crit. Though if you're running something like smart guns or monowire, crit chance can still be useful.

To me,these are like Cherry on top after increasing chrome capacity from those shards fhat el cap gives you or you do glitch, I only exoect these would be useful to "Built different' class V.
And even then it'd barely noticeable, more of using jt fkr the sake of using iconic, which I just do.except of course, ones at the top.

With full armour use blood pump and biomonitor. You can also try the cyberware that gives a second wind.
