This is true, I'm an advocate for trying guitars before you buy them if possible, even the most prestigious of makers can sometimes allow slight (or sometimes not so slight) imperfections to slip through the cracks, and if thats going to change your view from what makes your instrument just right for you then its always worth taking the time to check first! - Thanks Gary! - Sam

Not the best comparison (guitar wise) single coil and humbuckers sound so different. But either way the main reason to buy an expensive amp, is a mix of build quality, clean sound quality, and versatility. Personally my favorite brand of standard amps for both bass and guitar, is Orange. And i mean when you buy an instrument, is the most important thing not how it feels to play, how it looks, and how long it lasts.
its also a video that counts in at under a minute, which isnt usually the best amount of time to absorb what a guitar/setup could potentially sound like! Be sure to check out some of our full length videos for some more detailed reviews and comparisons! 😀

@@garnetgun My Les Paul has no problem with the G string. It's an authentic Gibson. My Epiphone LP also has absolutely no problem staying in tune. Either this is a real issue or people just do not know how to set their guitars up?
Well, about 3 weeks ago I bought a Gibson Les Paul Classic limited edition with faded iced tea mat finish. What is special about this version, besides the colour and finish, is that the volume and tone knobs are NOT push/pull. I also like the sound and looks of the 1961 Zebra nacked pick-ups. I also just bought, about a week ago, the Vox AC30 amplug 2, to have a better and different sound then with my old Fender Rad amp that i use for the last 28 years or so. The other guitar that i have and used, for as long as the Fender Rad amp, is an Ibanez 2451NT. So, eventualy, the next step will be to upgeade the amp part of my stuff. Meanwhile i keep practicing since i have my new guitar, because i am an eternal begginer who is going to persevere for once, after all those years "playing" only once in a while.

What guitar amp was the first one it sound killer !!!
A Roland Cube 10 watt, great little amp, glad you like it :) Stay awesome! - Sam
I always say but the most expensive you can afford after you been aying for about 6 months and have not given up on it and learned a few songs or what not then buy you a really nice amp most expensive you can afford it will inspire you to keep saying cuse the tone is just so much better but then buy you a expensive guitar asap to keep you motivated by seeing that 900-1100 dollar beautiful guitar sitting on the guitar stand everyday it will make you want play and pick it up but I'm so stuck on the fact as well expensive guitar when starting out to keep you motivated in wanting to play it cuse it's beautiful hard decision
This is amazing, what a comment! I have to agree with you on this, having a lovely instrument waiting to be played is often a great reason to practice! Thanks so much for this, and stay awesome! - Sam
Moral of the story, spend more on the amp
Got to agree, I get alot of the sounds from most newer videos from a plugin amp, which isn't too costly but makes a difference due to the quality of it! Cheers! - Sam
Now do it with the H&K vs an SLO.
Would love some Soldano stock, maybe one day! - Sam
Quality matters and sometimes you have to pay for it.
- Sam
Bro get some real crap then say cheap you are using Cort and Roland! And you saying it's not that good ...
Interesting Debu, most so in the fact that we have not mentioned either of the cheaper end gear in this video being "crap" at all. In fact the words "crap" and "cheap" can often be set apart very widely, especially if you turn "cheap" into "gold" Have a great day where you are dude! :) - Sam
I love those gibsons
Yeah they're pretty drooly aren't they?! what's your favourite?🤔

all total different types of guitar and amp... man, you need to compare similar type of products.

All sound like my phone;)
Got to get one in your hands somtime Paul so you can feel that difference! Thanks for this! - Sam
Only you, your producer and your hairdresser know for sure.

Do good guitar and expensive amp next
Keep checking the channels shorts tab for lots more comparisons every week! Thanks Aaron :) - Sam
basically same the as a mechanic expensive tool don't make you a good mechanic same for music world expensive equipment doesn't make you play better
I better get practicing then ;) - Sam
Could you please let me know the model of the guitar
Cheap - Cort G100
Expensive - Gibson Les Paul Supreme
@@HickiesMusicStorethankyou
you must compared strat base with the strat 🤣..
Unsure of what you mean, You would be more itnerested in a comparison between a cheap and expensive strat? Cheers! :) - Sam
Bad comparison. You should run it at 3, 7 and 10 on the volume knob. That will differentiate them. Regardless of amp
Think I might need a bit longer than 60 seconds to use all of those settings on each guitar Ulthbert, but this is a fantastic idea for a longer video! This little short was more for fun than anythign else. Get stuck into the channel if you would like some more in depth reviews! Hope you are having a great day where you are! :) - Sam
toan is in the handsss
Yes,..but only when you are holding your amplifier.
This made us laugh! Cheers - Sam
Idk, my personal preference with the tone was cheap guitar through the expensive amplifier
Glad to hear that you where able to make a good comparison Ryan, Those cort guitars are definately worth the hype! Stay awesome! - Sam
Duhhhh. It's everybody's preference. You can take a good amp and most guitars will sound good through it. Now take a good guitar and run it through that same amp and it's going to sound great
@@beefnacos6258 i wouldn’t say it’s everyone’s preference, because the expensive guitar & amp combo was also good and I see how it can appeal to more people
The cheap amp sounds way better.
Thanks Greg, glad you where able to make a good comparison here. Cheers! - Sam
Cort are excellent guitars, don't let that price fool you
Have you tried Jet guitars yet? for my money, the best guitars at that budget!
I played a cort m1200. Hard as hell to find. You can only find the 700 series. Anyway that guitar was like 1500 new and an entry level prs blows it out of the water and it's half the price. Cort disappointed me big time with that.
@@beefnacos6258 which PRS was this?
You Just Can’t Compare Cheap Stuff & Expensive Stuff. But the cheap guitar and cheap amplifier didn’t sound bad! Personally, I have had cheap stuff, but you wouldn’t catch going back to it. Guess I am a bit spoiled.
Its certainly very much down to the player and I really respect wanting to go for the best you can in terms of how an isntrument is put together! Thanks so much Steve, Stay awesome! - Sam
Once you play good shit there's no going back. Nothing wrong with cheaper gear but once you play something of higher quality it's game over. There's no going back
Dude u must live In a tent
That being said I would love to spend the night in a tent worth 3500 GBP! There would have to at least be a working jaccuzi. Cheers for the laugh! :) - Sam
what’s the amp called?
That's a Hughes and kettner black spirit 200
Comparing cheap single coils with treble on 11, to a humbucker regardless of the amp is dumb.
Feel like this video is pretty dumb compared to the rest of our comparisons, but a fair few people seem to have enjoyed it hehe ;) Hope you are having a great day, and keep on enjoying the guitar! :) Cheers - Sam
Bro compares two completely different guitar types 🤦♂️
just play the triangle.
Not a bad career move...

Which Cort is it???
@@HickiesMusicStore CR series are the les paul style guitars.... That strat, which one is it???
I had a CR250 which I had at my place for 6-7months, belonged to a friend. It was a good guitar, but had that G string going out of tune very often problem of les Paul.... Some kind stomped on the guitar and broke the headstock after my friend took it to his home😅😅😅
@@garnetgun my bad! Was late my end! That's a g100, apologies - Sam
@@garnetgun My Les Paul has no problem with the G string.
It's an authentic Gibson. My Epiphone LP also has absolutely no problem staying in tune. Either this is a real issue or people just do not know how to set their guitars up?
I preferred the cheap amp
Glad you where able to make a good comparison! Cheers! - Sam
I have the 3rd choice, for now... 😉
You lucky so and so. What have you got? :)
@@andre_boulet_guitar So happy to hear you are inspired to pickup the guitar and improve your playing! Have a grat one, and stay awesome! - Sam
