Thank you for this tutorial. I also used the yarn bee and have made my first scrubby. I will probably have to watch this several times before I can crochet a scrubby on my own. I look forward to learn from your other tutorials.
All of your tutorials are so easy to follow. I love this scrubby! It’s more stiff and abrasive than some of the others I’ve made and it’s exactly what I was looking for.
I have made a few of these now with scrubby yarn. Thank you so much. I like your video because it’s short and sweet and gets to the point and makes an interesting scrubby. When I first started I struggled but I kept at it. I’m still learning! Thank you.
Nice pattern. I would recommend using a J-10-6mm hook. It is a bit easier to work and the scrub is better sized at 4 inches. Also before cutting off the yarn I would recommend doing 2 chains, then cut, and pull tight before weaving in ends. Thanks!!
This was great! Thank you so much! I watched your magic circle tutorial you mentioned and it was so easy to understand! Thanks again, I'm all subscribed up!
Love this pattern! Just wondering why you used such a small hook. I used a 5.5. It came out a bit larger then yours, but lays flatter. Thanks for the clear tutorial. ❤
Hi! Thank you for watching. I'm so glad you enjoyed the pattern. I have actually been using a 5.5mm hook for these as well lately. At the time, I was making them for a customer and this is the size she wanted. I like them a bit larger as well and find it easier to work with this yarn with the 5.5 too 🥰
I’m having difficulty with this. I have attempted it several times. I think it might help me if you used a larger hook and kept the crochet stitches front and center on the camera each time. But that’s just me. I’m still learning. I really wanted to make this scrubby. Oct 2024 I am now able to make these and hope mine look as good as yours someday!
Hi. I'm sorry you're having a hard time with it. Maybe try to use regular yarn and not scrubby yarn at first to get the hang of it. The scrubby yarn is much harder to work with. And you can use any size yarn and hook you'd like until it becomes easier. I will try to do better keeping my stitches facing the camera in future videos. If you aren't familiar with front post crochet, practice that for a bit too and then this will come easy to you. I hope you will be able to make it soon! 🥰

Awesome! Thank you for letting me know. I'm so glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Thank you for doing a magic circle. So many do the other method and I can’t figure it out to save my life.
I'm so glad you like the magic circle! I feels like it closes up much better than the chain and slip stitch method.
Love this pattern. I've tried alot of different ones. Im still pretty new but the ridges are bolder for better scrubbing. Thanks for sharing!

Got some scrubology yarn today and had some fun! I’m not sure how to load a pic but it turned out great! Easy once you get the rhythm down 😊

U make it very rasy

One question, my center keeps opening up. How do I secure it?
Hi! I just pull the center strand tight and then pull it tight again at the end and weave it into the back of the scrubbie to secure it 😊
Thank you very much 😊
