This salve really is awesome! It does take consistent use to get maximum benefits but it really is wonderful. I've been using it for several weeks now since my total knee replacement and I'm totally impressed. I'm also using it on my feet and other joints and it really helps. Now I have severe inflammatory disease so it does not take my pain away 100% BUT it does help make it bearable so I can get things done. That's what's important to me. Anything that's natural and will help give me a good quality of life is what matters most! Anyone who tries this and uses it daily (it makes your skin feel amazing too 😊, buttery soft without the greasy feeling) will certainly see some relief.
Charles I can't thank you enough! You're THE BEST!! Thank you for all you do. God Bless you and yours always, Lisa

Hi Lisa, what is the source of your water? Lime and Calcium cause inflammation in the joints. The Magnesium deficient diets that urbanites exist on cause the body to store calcium in odd places in the body, like joints, breasts, and other organs. Magnesium is needed 1:1 to transport Calcium through the body, like Vitamin C is necessary to transport Iron through the body. Try magnesium supplements and purer water to see if you gain relief. We are walking chemistry plants. There is a balance that must be maintained.

Hi Lisa thank you for your post I'm so glad that this country works for you I'm starting to use it now since I fractured my ankle this winter when I fell on some ice just wanted to let you know I had a lot of issues with a lot of hip pain not related to my injury knee pains just general joint pain and overall malaise and just so happens that a few months ago I started on the ketogenic diet for weight loss just before my injury and I tell you no need to take painkillers Osteo Bi-Flex or turmeric I never imagined that giving up sugar and carbohydrates would have such an impact on my overall joint health I am not taking anything I promise you and I have unbelievable energy no joint pain an unexpected side effect is I'm never hungry probably just have my morning breakfast a handful of walnuts in the afternoon and for the most part I'm skipping dinner for the last 3 months and have lost 40 lbs that's the best side effect ever a side effects go! Oh and by the way you don't have to be overweight to be on the ketogenic lifestyle a lot of people do just for health issues that people are trying to get rid of! And I have to say it really works yes you have to change your lifestyle a bit but it's well worth it to rid yourself of all the internal inflammation honestly if I didn't have to lose 50 lb I probably would have never discovered this miracle of the ketogenic lifestyle. I saw a movie on Netflix called the magic pill it is so impactful and informative I recommend it highly good luck and thank you so much for posting! I would love to hear if this works for you best wishes God bless!

I was in about 6th grade when I cut my finger really deep my dad mixed comfrey and I don't know if it was molasses or honey I literally saw my epidermis and dermis grow back and it grew from the inside out to where I actually saw my flesh growing back new flesh and healing that is what I saw and since then I've been stuck on it so I know for a fact it did not heal from outside in because I actually saw the layers grow from inside out

I’m assuming you kept the finger wrapped with some gauze or something, but did your dad apply the comfry mixture down into the cut also? And, did you clean and apply a new bandage with the comfry mixture daily?

My question is if your dad used an already made salve or was it the comfrey leaves wrapped with the honey/molasses so it would stay on your finger. It could make a difference because your wounds do heal both ways depending on the injury. There's a lot of information written about how to use the comfrey leaves on wounds do you remember which way your dad used the Comfrey?

I love your simple recipe video on comfrey salve, quite different from what my mom used to whip Up! Her recipe was using the root not leaves beef tallow instead of beeswax, honey and a bit of alo vera and cook the ingredients together and strain the root pieces out & cool that is just making a quick small portion batch. It's off white but works like a Charm! But I want to give your recipe a Shot! ❤

  • @ixchelssong

Way back when, I injured the ligaments in my knee and some friends who were growing comfrey gave me a few large dried leaves. They told me to make a poultice to put on my knee. I think I was supposed to only use it for 12 days. Unfortunately I didn't have enough for that long, and didn't know where to get more. 😕

    G'day OAG
I am an Arborist on the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia, I was working with Silky Oak (Grevillea Robusta) this week and it turns out it gives me a skin allergy, I have a garden full of comfrey and am testing crushed comfrey leaves on the effected area but It's very itchy so I will give your simple recipe a go.
    Cheers Dave

I bought jars like that of comfrey salve at 12$ a jar from the USA to Denmark. After shipping cost, VAT and VAT on the postoffice cost and VAT on everything else, they turned out to cost 208 kronas each, and the 16oz comfrey cost the same and also the white pine powder. That is 30$ per jar and per bag of herbs. Incredibly expensive. I might as well make it myself and try to get comfrey from Europe.

I look everywhere for comfrey so I can transplant it to my Oklahoma home. I keep trying to find it in woods and areas of woods and open fields. I laugh because I keep looking up plants and now I have a list of plants to forage. I think I found a little comfrey here in Ohio where I am visiting. So I guess I can cut it and take back home with me. I bet this chitchat was interesting. Well I am going to more vlogs you have made. So glad I found you.

Growing up we used equal amounts compfrey honey and wheat germ oil. The vitamin E is natural to the wheat germ oil. I think I'll try making this with a no heat tincture using organic cold pressed oil and bees wax.
