We were debating between HAL and Princess. Found this video and UA-cam and instantly decided Princess is for us and we booked our Alaska cruise!! -from another Brown family with 2 kiddos in LA :)
My family, 14 of us, took a Princess Cruise to Alaska in 2017. We left out of Vancouver, Canada, and ended in Juneau. We did the sled dog training camp, a biking excursion, an off-roading jeep excursion, a glass-blowing excursion, took a tram to the top of a mountain, and of course, the glaciers. Fantastic trip!! We are now planning a sisters/nieces "I Survived Cancer Treatment" (chemo/surgery/radiation/chemo) for next year.
This is hands down the most wholesome thing on the internet today. Look at the kids giggling. Trid just knows the secret ingredient to tickling everyone's funny bone. Sending love to the family that can make the whole internet roll on the floor and laugh. ❤

On the cruise I was on, I had a miracle experience. I'm scared to death of being around deep water (childhood fear). But I really wanted to go on this trip to be with family and figured I could stay inside the ship. The first night was so comfortable. Everyone there super sweet. 3 AM I dared myself to go on the lower side deck and just sit on the bench furthest from the sea. It was so peaceful. Warm. The sky glowed from moonlight. There was this sense of being surrounded by something. Angels??? Love??? I don't know. I walked to the edge of the deck and felt the magic of being in this remarkable place. Tears filled me as I realize a fear I had held onto for most of my life vanished. I felt free. At ease. In silent joy. Your video reminded me of that healing moment. Sheena, you and your family have such a sweet energy about you. I am grateful for all you and yours share❤❤❤

What a beautiful family !!! I am Filipina and husband is Indian. The crew works so very hard and provide such excellent service. We asked our server if they could prepare an Indian meal (off menu) and we had a feast!!!
I did the same cruise with Princess early June 18th 2023.
It was fantastic and I got to see the soliste midnight sun.
The sun set at 12:30 on June 22- it was a once in a lifetime moment.😊

The Princess TRID cruise sounds awesome🤣 Thank you for sharing parts of your cruise. Actually the cruise experience itself is so freakin' fantastic. Had done one for the Caribbean few years back as a family reunion event. It was such a blast and the staff, the food, the island stop overs were so beautiful and thoughtful. The personal attention onboard always blew me away. Yes they remembered all 150 names of our group and even coming to the food court we each had a hostess that became like our friend. Bringing in our favorite goodies.
Everything you shared here was wonderful and heartfelt. So glad your family had this vacation🥰🥰🥰

I've done 1 Carnival cruise and it was on their smallest ship. Even then it seemed huge. Alaska is a dream trip and sharing your experience and summary was quite fun. The staff and coordination on a cruise is truly exemplary. Happy sails to the family.

We took that cruise several years ago. One of the best adventures we've been on. We were also on a Princess ship and were totally spoiled by the crew! I'm so glad your family was able to experience this.

years ago my family did the same cruise on the Princess. We met these cruise people who told us it was the best ship they'd been on. Also we didn't get off in Victoria. It was a good time. There used to be a woman in a shack on the pier in Ketchican that sold the best clam chowder I have ever had. And I spent a few years after that trip looking for something that compared.

I went on a carnival cruise to the bahamas about your kids age with my brother, mom, and dad. It was something that I'll never forget. It was very special, just like the memories you two created with your kids. Congrats on the amazing trip!

I agree about the allergy issue! I'm highly allergic to saffron and curry powder. They would bring me tomorrow's menu each night so I could plan and know what I could or could not eat or if I wanted a special preparation. (Our table mates loved having the access to tomorrow's menu...lol)

Beautiful. I lived in Seattle 1980-1995 and honeymooned in Victoria. All beautiful. Butchart Gardens are beautiful too.
We will be on this ship for 14 days to Alaska in June 2024. First time to Alaska and on Princess. Been trying to get medallion class service at home with the wife and kids and just keep getting nasty looks and comments. I won't know what its like until we board but one of the reasons we chose Princess for our 25th anniversary. We have done Carnival and Disney cruises with extended family and always a great experience for all. Very nice video, thanks.
I went on the celebrity millennium in july 2022 it was great. The crew and on ship itinerary was great the buffet was good and restaurants were too Loved the mid 60s weather sure beat the Louisiana heat that was in the high 90s low 100s. We were even able to get closer to the Hubbard Glacier than the small tour boat.

Princess Cruise Lines should comp the Melwani family free cruises for 5 years after this 14 plus minute long video of family fun and bonding on the cruise. This video was better than ANY commercial they have made OR have thought about making AND undoubtedly will inspire thousands to take a cruise adventure with Princess who otherwise might not have seriously considered doing so ( I am one of those who has been converted just by watching your video even though I have seen their ads for decades. )

We had the same experiences on our cruise with royal Caribbean to the Bahamas. They would put mint in my water and helped us choose the most adventurous foods. Even performed tricks at the table.
I’ll personally never go on a cruise but this does look like a lot of fun.
