How did you get that linkage to go in the hole so easily from the door handle I can't do it

Nice to see it coming together ! I always get a slice or two when working inside the doors, they weren't too particular about finishing a lot of the internals. Nice work and patience to deaden the door skin, if you are installing powerful door speakers you might want to do the inner as well, or did you do it from the backside ?

What kind of oil bath do you let it soak in and for how long?

Where did you bought the latch from?
Also, how do I remove the clips to release the rods?

You can purchase the latch from LMC but I just repurposed mine from a donor vehicle... But for the release rods It's a plastic clip on them hes just unclipped from the edge of the rod and allow you to pull it out the hole when you rotate it around.

Man...I just replaced my inner and outer door handles and now my drivers doors stuck shut and the passengers doors wont shut....the door locks are stuck down or locked and I for the life of me cant figure what is going on with them....any ideas?

@@jeremyrios8144 yep, turns out the new outer handle was out of spec just a little. Specifically the black plastic push button. I ended up taking the black plastic button from the old handle and put it in the new outer handle and that fixed it.
