I have the plus II 12V and only using 1 phase until full 220 can be run into the small building. I have the AC1 outlet working and the whole unit charges well and the inverter works well. However I can't seem to find out to "turn on" the AC out 2 system. An RV refrigerator is running on 120V (dometic) and uses the 120V electrode on the cooling unit. When the power goes out, I want to have that not connected to AC 1 out when all starts to invert ... if it was it would drain the batteries quickly. Thus the AC-out-2 should have power when the AC input is coming into the MP II. I am not reading power there at all.. So I am thinking there is a way to turn on or turn off the AC-out-2 line ... where I'd keep it connected to the RV refrigerator etc. I noticed the Victron has an updated MP II manual.

could you recommend what gauge of wire I should use for the AC IN/OUT. My RV is a 30amp and currently uses 10/3 romex solid strand. From what I have learned the Multiplus-ll requires stranded wire. I have seen some cases where the AC terminal blocks have overheated and melted on some using solid strand or having a bad connection in general. I don’t want that to happen to me lol. My runs in and out are about 10 feet or so. Thanks in Advance

Do you need to install the t sense and v sense cables or are the ones to the shunt sufficient?

Thanks, I wish Victron had a better system to hook up the ac side. Like there MPPT. Getting the 6/4 in there was a challenge.

Hi. We don't recommend wiring the charge controller to the inverter.

@@battlebornbatteries Why not ? Pretty sure Victron put them there for that .

What board is that where the components are attached ?

It's a display board that we created to showcase how each of the components work together in a system.

Is this a 240v inverter? Can you combine the two 120v for 240v?

Whether it is supplied from shore power or a generator, the MultiPlus-II 2x 120V can accept and pass through both lines of a 120/240V supply, with the capability to utilize the full 50A for charging and AC loads.

So the output, can be configured for two 120v or one 240v

@@carlosreyes6448 This only works on a 12/24v system depending on which you are running and purchase. If you have a 48v system like I do you would need two of the regular 48v multiplus II to run that 50amp service

The AC power wires coming in seem such a small gauge (like compared to a 50 amp RV wire), is that safe?
