Before he died Pricilla wasn't even really in the picture. Elvis's body guards used to pick up and drop off Lisa Marie. Linda Thompson and Ginger Alden both said she wasn't around and now she is really present. I find that weird.

GInger even said in her book that she had no idea of how close they still were with each other, he would talk for hours on the phone day and night, he passed the phone over to Ginger one day and had asked Priscilla to tell her how to.look after me like you did, she said Priscilla told her, just love him., and make sure he eats well and gets plenty of rest.
Elvis knew how much Priscilla still.loved him., and him her till his dying day.

an Y....no she wasn't. Linda who toured with him said they saw her twice in 4 1/2 years. Priscilla also claimed she had not seen or spoken to Elvis in a while when he died. Elvis divorced her. We know this because he filed for divorce.

I am not saying they didn’t have mutual respect for one another but she had moved on with her life. She had remarried, had kids. In the movie they left out completely he had 2 other relationships before he passed away. They made it seem like she was the only person he had in his life.

That's what happened to me! Elvis was a little before my time. I didn't really understand him or know why everybody loves him SO much,until after I saw the movie. I started watching every thing Elvis... I still do! that move really kind of changed me

I purchased a digital copy and watched it the other week. It was very entertaining, and despite it's 2:40 running time, it holds your interest. Austin Butler was terrific, glad he won the Globe.

Elvis was presented the medal of Freedom for the Greatest Entertainer of the century & neither Priscilla nor Lisa cared enough to go to D.C and accept it. Elvis would have been so proud !!!!
@@celiajohnston518 It was blamed on Trump being the one who gave it to him but something like 14 Presidents had the chance to do so (many of them from the South) and only Trump bothered. Lisa has died so I won't be unkind but it is sad that someone from EPE accepted the award and not the family.

I saw Elvis movie twice and the very end of the movie I held back tears I’m a big Elvis fan and Austin did an incredible job I’m so happy he got the golden globe

Austin made Lisa happy with his performance. She cherished Austin like a mom. And Priscilla was happy too. But when God calls you home you're gone. Lisa is at peace now.
He lost his mother at 23 and her losing her son made the relationship very special for them both. I'm glad Austin was a comfort to Lisa Marie.

Priscilla attends Elvis’ birthday celebration every year, but this year she had another Elvis event in Florida the day before. She probably decided to fly back to L.A. and get ready for these Golden Globes instead of trying to do Florida, run to Memphis and back to LA for the Golden Globes without resting. No one wants to feel jet-lagged for an awards ceremony, especially a 77 year old woman.

Lisa Marie had had a week of muted celebrations. At Graceland then at the GGA. She looked, sounded and acted extremely frail during both events. Her weight was so low. I am absolutely gutted that she has gone. When Ben died she died. Heartbreaking 💔💔💔. Priscilla you are the strongest of woman. Time will tell if you can come through this horrendous loss . Elvis is finally getting the flowers he deserves. He was a talent that was over worked. And drugs was used as a way for him to decompress from the exhaustion. He did what he loved , but so many people lived off him including his manager. Who was getting 50 percent of his earnings, 100 of the Elvis memorabilia. And wrote all of Elvis’ contracts.

I'm happy both Lisa Marie and Priscilla were at the Golden Globes in person to see Austin win and to hear his acceptance speech. They were both so happy and so proud. I feel so bad for Priscilla. She's been through a lot in her life, 2 years ago had to deal with the death of her grandson, the bitter custody battle between Lisa Marie and that nutjob 4th husband of hers and now Lisa Marie's death. Just awful. Same with Lisa Marie's 3 daughters. They lost a brother recently and now their mother. That's a lot of loss in a short time. My condolences to all of Lisa Marie's loved ones.
