Question: what is the goal of FT if these cadets are exposed to this sort of environment before they come to Maxwell? I was always taught the point of FT was to have a level playing field where cadets could get an unbiased evaluation on their performance. If some cadets come into Alabama knowing exactly what to expect while others don’t due to a difference in cadet philosophy or even resources available, where is the level playing field for our 200s?

Get all the advantages as much as possible. There are cadets that were prior enlisted or street cops that have seen real life stuff already. We can't baby our cadets anymore. The same goes for cadets who are already Purple belt in BJJ, and they gonna do well in combatives compared to cadets who don't know anything.

Reminds me being homeless in Massachusetts with two feet of snow outside.
