That’s a cool trail that my crappy ebike will kill over trying to do..
Back in my younger days, that hill you said a mountain bike couldn't ride up, I would've been able to ride up it. Granted I would've been in gears 1 and 1 on a 21 speed mountain bike going like 3 miles per hour. I miss the late 90's and early 2000's and being skinny.
Its probably not impossible but very unlikely, the gopro strips away some of the angle. I'm sure a fit rider on a good bike with some luck could tractor up that hill. but I remember being a kid and having by bike skip gears and tip over.
@@tacticooldennis You ever heard of Cloud Line in San Bernardino or Little Mountain Drive? I used to ride up those and they are pretty darn steep. I'm not disagreeing with you, I know camera angles don't do climbs justice sometimes. I used to race cross country in my late teens and early twenties.
@@ELECTRICBIKEDIYLIFE I haven't ridden out that way on MTB's We usually headed out to El Mirage, or Johnson valley for Dirtbike weekends. I did a little BMX and desert racing but not really into MTB till later. It's more of a problem with a lot of ebikes is they don't have the torque to pull you up something steep. It will drive itself up the hill but not with a rider. I'm hoping a 5T motor will do a better job, but it might just make it wanna flip out more.
That bike is not even road legal !
It's a grey area and really dependent on how you ride. However we have golf carts and gas bicycles in my area. I've talked to cops on at least 3 occasions and haven't had any issues.
Ok and what’s your point?
