OEM, E61 part number: 65209183563, new part costs over $400 (as of March 2023).

i have these symptoms expect the radio, on a e93 2010 what does this mean?
On my e91 with comfort access the key doesn’t work when the car has been parked in the hot sun for a while. But if it’s cool outside, then it’s fine
Same symptoms and i pulled it out, cleaned the pins really really well until they became shiny, after that i assembled it back on, the radio became clear and loud but the key still doesn't work.
The same problem for me.. really fuking angry but Ye… i dont give a shit if my car gets robbed anymore.. what could you do
Key remote uses that thin wide ribbon cable, if you have OK diversity module your key wil work next to it, check ground cable, if you have problems, add some short grounding to brown cable and bolt it on hinge :)

It can. E60 sedans don’t struggle with diversity antenna issues like E61 wagons do. But you can troubleshoot it the same way I guess.
Heyy, can you help me with mine problem? So my key less system is working, key is working too, but the range of unlocking car is very small, i can unlock my car from only 2-4 meters, sometimes it catches a signal from further, but just sometimes, so is it battery? Or antenna?

Hello, I would start with a new key fob battery, it seems it’s getting weaker.
Can it happen on a E90?
I never owned E9x cars, but I know some parts are interchangeable, and so are the problems.

Understandable. I didn’t want to spend $400 on the new one, that’s why I bought a used E63/64 unit, it was under $60 on eBay.
