If that's a genuine finding, I bet it was made on people outside of Europe or sth. I have had to pause this at least twice because some of the audio literally sounds as if it is behind me (noticed first with the Halloween soundtrack in the intro). If this was intentional, bravo. If this was not intentional... Still, bravo.
To be honest, everyone is scared of Vsauce when he say's "Or is it?"
Win dex his name is Michael
Or is it
ಠ_ಠ
Deaf people:
Subtitles: or is it?
Deaf people: **visible fear**
Further on when Vsauce's eyebrow raises it adds to the effect of horror.
The scariest thing is waking up tied up in Michael’s basement and hearing:
- Don’t worry. I am not going to do anything to you.
- Or am I?
Your killing me 😂😂😂😂👄

@@mr.firepants small price for salvation
I remember hearing about MindField when it first started, and I just started watching episodes for the first time about a month ago. I'm both glad to have this series as a novel experience and a little down that I wasn't part of the fun when episodes were still coming out.

Wow my brain started working 10 times faster
Police: You are arrested

BATMAN hol up
(Is taken on a tour of diverging and sorta related topics. Police left staring aghast and terrified at an empty vehicle)
@@K_ingh16 it works only if you get the background music as you say that. Michael can do that cause it is his normal super power.

CIA Interrogators: Interesting
They already knew it though, famouse torture methods are based on it.
So I just watched a 40 min. Video to discover that waterboarding is the scariest thing.
Wow.
@@ericzabel8632 ahahaha I was thinking the same. I wanted it to be the scariest thing a human could witness visually. Instead of a torture method seen in various crime drama shows and movies.
If we want to learn from the CIA on how to increase the effect of that fear response though, bring out the MK ultra stuff... fucking sickening

I love how Vsauce is acting of getting afraid, even though that is not possible, just to entertain his audience and deceive the newer ones. So he is sublime at both acting and videomaking.

Religious people who believe in an afterlife have also exhibited a lack of fear of death. They aren’t necessarily suicidal, and they don’t WANT to die, but the inevitability of it doesn’t scare them like it does for others.
Death is merely something that happens, not dissimilar to reaching your birthday and aging up by a year
If that's a genuine finding, I bet it was made on people outside of Europe or sth.
I was way more afraid of death when I was religious bcs I never 100% believed that stuff and so it keeps you in an uneasy state of having to convince yourself. I think it's hard to find people, who strongly believe, in the West.

What's the scariest thing?
EASY. Sleep Paralysis.
If, like me, you've ever experienced it.....you know. You know. It's not just the single most existentially nihilistically disturbing terror I've ever experienced....but I'm absolutely convinced it is physiologically impossible to feel THAT level of fear during normal waking consciousness. I won't even try to explain or describe what it's like. It's flat out pointless to try. If you don't know...you don't know. And if you know....yeah, you'll never forget it, will you?
@@avedic but the thing with sleep paralysis is that you are scared because you are scared and people with damaged amygdala may not be able to see scary things you see when paralysed. Actually that would be an interesting experiment to make
