I know is 2 years late but did you know you can select all versions of the song and right click info and the change you make to one transfers to all the other 3 copies.. saves some time and click on your keyboard. I suggest to buy a mouse and an external keyboard if you want to take over a large library so you don't mess the laptops keyboard and mouse pad. just a tip.
this is a good idea but it's easier to do it in serato dj. when you can highlights all of the songs at once and do the genre,bpm or delete whatever you want you can't do it in iTunes.
Good organization; but what happens when your adding new music to an existing folder outside of serato and when go to serato > files> music files (existing folder where you added new music). Do you copy Whole Folder and drag to your serato crate; that's already existing; causing for duplicates? Haven't tried yet; but sounds like good way to keep musically organized for djing?

I would use Mp3 tag to make your job so much faster with renaming your files.. Really will turn your job into breeze.. The other god given program is Alchamie Sync.. It creates creates the same structure as your folders you have in explorer.. Job done in 2 secs
One of my most important crates got messed up/disorganized! I don’t know how to get it back to how the way I had it. HELP!!! It’s like in order of bpm and I want to switch to the playlist I had

Great info, however, Itunes does not change the file name as shown in the video, it only changes the information displayed on Itunes ( the file name remains the same). Could you please show us how to set up Itunes to reflect the changes made?

It’s your choice to do that. But if you create smart crates, it will do that instantly. If you can’t find a song, use the spotlight search.

i guess everything depends on your organization plans or your O.C.D. levels.. hehe I have tried different stuff but it's too overwhelming!!
