Completed my A Levels in 2023. Currently an NSF. Congrats on finishing your A Levels. A Level times was certainly a very tough time for me. I look back and won’t want to experience that academic rigour again, especially the final months of intense study. I managed to head to NUS but failed to achieve any possibility of scholarships. For those reading this comments, the video is good in summing up what you could do to get through JC. My personal small tips is to at least do some sort of study everyday, even if it’s to memorise one fact, equation or reaction. Take the time on public transport to also memorise just a bit of something. Taking everything at one go is hard but a little bit a day is so much better
hello!! no problem :)) school dismissal time varies depending on your subject combi. for me, i usually ended around 3-4pm. on days where there is art coursework i ended at 5
omg HAHAHAHA thank you still for dedicating the time to watch this 😭😭 glad u found it inspiring! hope i’ll be able to help others in their post - high school journey :*)
Is it okay or even possible that I can go to jc even though I don’t take a math, because i take pure lit and poa for my subj combo😭😭 I thought of poly but ur video was so inspiring it even made me consider jc. Also are leadership roles like i am in student council and vice capt in my cca important in my portfolio .I’ve heard many things about building up ur portfolio in sec4.( currently sec3 and looking to take law or business)
hello!! of course it’s okay to go to jc even if you don’t take a math. i think all jcs offer bridging courses if you want to take h2 math! for h1 math, i don’t think you need a math as a prerequisite either (: and i think leadership roles are important especially for law since it’s quite a competitive course. but it also depends on your write up: what did you learn from being in council / a vice capt? how has the experience changed you for the better? what skills did you pick up?
