I am no farmer but I have often fantasized about being one and I don't even know what I'd grow! It's just the work day that makes a man out of boys and the total self reliance it seems like a man would have to learn to be successful that I would love. The backbone of the world is made up of the food producers and to be one of those good folks would have its own rewards. I love watching these videos and imagining... and I am 62 years old.

I'm amazed at how the shafts don't break on those triples. If only you could transport a farmer from the late 1800s to early 1900s to see the advancements of today. Just in my 62 years on earth the advancements are almost unbelievable.
It is a neat chopping team. Years ago before the self propelled forage harvesters gained so much popularity it was pretty common to see a 4wd tractor running a pull type chopper.
@@bigtractorpower absolutely. When I was still cutting silage, I went away from a self propelled Heston to a pulltype JF cutter which I pulled with case 2470. The jf was amazing machine. A bit underpowered with the 2470, but the trucks still had to work to keep up hauling.

These big tractors on triples are just so cool looking. It's always a great bonus to see ripping or chiseling and of course, watching a Wishek till is always great. Excellent video!
Right I agree the one at our job site pulls a cat scraper an it has duals on it tho it's a 9620. We have a few other smaller Deere tractors too. My company owns the 9620 an the others too.
I certainly don't want one of these new big John Deeres for my own, but man they are awesome to see working. That 8850 is very nice. I'll stick to machines made in the 70's to the 1990's, maybe a little newer. They are cheaper, easier to work on, and still get the job done just beautifully.
to tell you the truth I like em all except that one part where those 2 were working on the silage pile Id prefer using a tractor with tires rather than tracks I noticed quite a bit of silage getting in the tracks which I dont like the way it was doing that but cool video
The tracks tamp the pile evenly where the duals pinch in between the tires leaving the pile surface with small air pockets. The silage job only lasts a few days and a power wash after the job cleans up the tracks.

@@bigtractorpower Would love to see the big orange tractors back in production and on the market again. I always thought they were the best looking tractor made from mid 70s till Deutz made the design changes
@@bigtractorpower the triple wheel pulling the wishek, I have heard them say they only till 4 inches deep so I wonder why they have got such a heavy harrow for that.
Man i just checked out a new channel "406 Farmer" where they have a crazy cool 8000 series JD 4wd with butterfly discbines and a host of older JD running hay equipment, very cool affordable farming
Great Video (as always) Jason! We have a farm near us (East Central WI) which uses a couple Bomag soil compacters on their bunk silos. Those things really do the trick.
Honestly thought the 9330 was best one cuz ya see 4wd tractor with a pull type a chopper and dump wagon chopping hay or corn not a set up ya see to often....I do wonder what's better running on triples or LSW super single tires
Matthew Kabanuk 53 seconds ago The stuff these days does. I think emission systems became standard on Deere tractors in the late 2000’s when the 7030, 8030, and 9030 series tractors were introduced.
Nice to see the dust fly on a cold day in MN

We had a 7 row planter and thought we were doing well you find 38 row planter good Lord Almighty
It is amazing how big planters are getting. The largest right now is a 48 row 120ft model.
I would love that green and yellow my whole life thanks to my grandpa 1930 to 1971
Great brand. I think I recall you saying your grandfather worked at Deere?
👌 nice machinery

I was thinking the same thing about those 9RX 620s pulling the 32 row planters at the speed they do
thanks for another great video that was a nice collection of tractors!!!!!
Yea seeing that monster 620 hp on triples was really something else
I like triples. They really tie the tractors horse power to the ground much better than duals.
Nothing runs like a Deere. If it ain't green... It ain't mean!!!

Enjoyed seeing the 9330.The 3700 plow sure made the 8960 work
The 9330 is one of my favorite 4wds. Very handy for tillage, planting and pto work. The 8960 definitely met it’s match.
I love the Deere

I used a John Deere 9220 4WD tractor with a Sunflower 1435 35' Disk to work on my bosses corn stuble on the irrigated corn that made 195 bu/ac.

Great to see the 9330 doing something different from the usual cultivation or seeding!
I’m surprised those get away with such heavy tillage on lighter red dirt in Kentucky
The soil in WKY is hard red clay. Deep ripping is needed to loosen it up.
No Allis and Chalmers
